Blog # 357 - "Sow peace to reap righteousness."

Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 1:18.

Today’s verse speaks about the fruit of righteousness. It is the peacemaker who sows seeds of peace to reap a harvest of righteousness. The Apostle James uses the word "peace" here to refer to the right relationships among people. He desires peace in the church and among believers, knowing that peace is the only environment in which righteousness can flourish. God loves peacemakers. The wisdom of this world produces trouble, while the wisdom from above produces peace among people. God-trusting, self-sacrificing heavenly wisdom is the source of peace, gentleness, mercy, and righteousness. Are you sowing seeds of peace to reap a harvest of righteousness? Matthew 5:9 says: "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God."

நீதியாகிய கனியானது சமாதானத்தை நடப்பிக்கிறவர்களாலே சமாதானத்திலே விதைக்கப்படுகிறது. யாக்கோபு 3:18.

இன்றைய வசனம் நீதியாகிய கனியைப் பற்றிப் பேசுகிறது. சமாதானம் காப்பவரே, நீதியின் அறுவடையைப் பெற சமாதானமாகிய  விதைகளை விதைப்பார். அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய யாக்கோபு இங்கே "சமாதானம்" என்ற வார்த்தையை மக்களிடையே சரியான உறவுகளைக் குறிக்க பயன்படுத்துகிறார். அவர் திருச்சபையிலும் விசுவாசிகளிடையிலும் சமாதானத்தை விரும்புகிறார், ஏனெனில் சமாதானம் மட்டுமே நீதி செழித்து வளரக்கூடிய சூழலை உருவாக்குகிறது. சமாதானம் செய்பவர்களை தேவன் நேசிக்கிறார். இந்த உலகின் ஞானம் சிக்கல்களை உருவாக்குகிறது, ஆனால் பரத்திலிருந்து வரும் ஞானம் மக்களிடையே சமாதானத்தை உருவாக்குகிறது. தேவனைக் துதித்து, தன்னை வெறுத்து வெளிப்படும் பரலோக ஞானமே சமாதானம், சாந்தம், இரக்கம் மற்றும் நீதியின் ஊற்றாகும். நீங்கள் நீதியை அறுவடை செய்ய சமாதானமாகிய விதைகளை விதைக்கிறீர்களா? மத்தேயு 5:9 கூறுகிறது: “சமாதானம் பண்ணுகிறவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய புத்திரர் என்னப்படுவார்கள்.”

"Blog Y2 042 - Good News Refreshes the Weary Soul"

As cold water to a weary soul, So is good news from a far country. Proverbs 25:25. In life’s difficult moments, we often find ourselves weary, thirsty for hope, and longing for relief. This verse highlights the importance of timely encouragement. King Solomon compares good news to a refreshing cup of cold water given to a weary soul who has been working hard, worn out, and very thirsty. In the broader context, Solomon had previously taught that a trustworthy messenger brings refreshment to his master, but in this verse, the focus moves to the importance of the message itself. What good news can you share today to lift someone's spirit and bring encouragement? The Bible says that a good report makes the bones healthy. Good news is a powerful gift. When was the last time you encouraged a distant friend? Even the smallest encouragement can be like cold water to a soul in need.  Proverbs 16:24 says: “Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.”...

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable  are  His judgments and His ways past finding out! Romans 11:33. Today's verse deals with five aspects of His characteristics: His deep riches, wisdom, knowledge, unsearchable judgments, and His higher ways. We can witness His wisdom and knowledge in the way He has crafted us and our world. We can also witness His decisions and ways concerning our lives as we have traveled thus far in this life. Our God is all-powerful and performs great and unsearchable things in our lives. When we think about ourselves, our knowledge, wisdom, thinking, and planning are limited. When we place our trust in God, we submit ourselves to His immense riches, wisdom, and knowledge, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us in every decision we make. "God desires intimate relationship with contrite."

I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Isaiah 57:15. God identifies Himself as the great and exalted One who lives forever and whose name is Holy. He created time, space, matter, and human beings. He stretched out the heavens and trampled the waves of the sea. His desire is to renew a right spirit within the hearts of lost souls who are dead in sin. Instead of dwelling in heaven, a holy place, our Almighty God wants to live with us, who are meek, holy, and humble of heart. He also wants to revive those with a contrite spirit and dwell in the hearts of all who believe in His name. This revelation unveils God's heart, characterized by compassion, grace, and accessibility. "Believers, you have overcome the world."

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. In this scripture, Apostle John refers to "little children" as young believers who are growing in the Lord every day. He encourages the believers as below: 1.   Saying, "You are of God," which means they are of His family; they have  embraced His truth, and His Spirit dwells with them. 2.   He mentions that these believers have "Overcome them," meaning they  have  taken victory over the evil one and the world. 3. He reminds us that the power of Christ, who lives in the believer, is greater  than the power of the world. The Holy Spirit living in us is far stronger than  any attack by the evil one. This scripture should empower us today not to fear the enemy but to trust the Lord and obey His commands. Blog # Y2 011 - "Calling on God with Confidence"

As for me, I will call upon God, And the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice. Psalm 55:16-17. Here, King David speaks of calling upon God's name for salvation. He mentions crying out to the Lord three times a day with a loud voice. Why would David pray this way? It’s because he understands that only God can save him from all his fears, trials, and problems. Similarly, we can call upon the Lord when we are discouraged, afraid, or worried. Jesus bore all our burdens and sins on the cross and saved us. We should also have confidence in the Lord like David, constantly reaching out to Him in prayer and with thanksgiving. He hears our voice and delivers us when we pray continually. Blog # 361 - "Celebrate victories through worship and praise"

I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. Psalm 7:17. This scripture says how King David gives praises to the God of righteousness and to the name of the Lord Most High. This verse encourages us to praise and worship the Lord for His righteousness and His sovereignty. David is praising God’s name as “ God Most High.” We first see "God Most High," which in Hebrew is “ El Elyon ” ; in Genesis 14:18, Melchizedek is identified as "priest of God Most High." This name occurs multiple times in the Psalms. It identifies God as the supreme, exalted sovereign in heaven. We must celebrate all the victories over our trials and tribulations through worship and praise. He is the great king over all the earth.
