Blog # 358 - "Trust in God's unchanging power"

Who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us. 2 Corinthians 1:10.

The Apostle Paul praises God for His power that delivered His children from death and dangers in the past, continues to do so in the present, and will do so forever. God is all-powerful. He is omnipotent. He is our deliverer and redeemer. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. When all human hope and help fail, He is there to assist when we call upon His name. There is no one else like Him to give us hope when all doors are closed. We need to be thankful to Him for the past miracles so that we can witness future ones. Even today, He is ready to help us if we place our trust in Him, especially in times of trouble. Do you trust in God's power to deliver and help you in times of trouble, just as He has done in the past? Psalm 18:2 says: "The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."

அப்படிப்பட்ட மரணத்தினின்றும் அவர் எங்களைத் தப்புவித்தார், இப்பொழுதும் தப்புவிக்கிறார், இன்னும் தப்புவிப்பார் என்று அவரை நம்பியிருக்கிறோம். 2 கொரிந்தியர் 1:10.

அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் கடந்த காலத்தில் தேவன் தம்முடைய பிள்ளைகளை மரணத்திலிருந்தும் ஆபத்துகளிலிருந்தும் விடுவித்த வல்லமைக்காக துதிக்கிறார், கடந்த காலத்தில் அவர் எவ்வாறு காப்பாற்றினாரோ, அதேபோல இன்றும், என்றும் அவரே நமக்காக செயல் படுவார். தேவன் சர்வசக்தியுள்ளவர். அவர் சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவன். அவரே நம்மை மீட்டு இரட்சிப்பவர் . அவர் நேற்றும் இன்றும் என்றும் மாறாதவர். நம்முடைய அனைத்து நம்பிக்கையும் உதவியும் தோல்வியடையும்போது, அவர் நம்முடன் இருப்பார். நாம் அவரை கூப்பிடும் வேளையில் உதவிக்கு தயாராக இருப்பார். எல்லா கதவுகளும் மூடப்பட்டாலும் நமக்கு நம்பிக்கை அளிக்க அவரைப் போல் வேறு யாரும் இல்லை. எதிர்கால அற்புதங்களைக் காண, கடந்த கால அற்புதங்களுக்காக நாம் அவருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்த வேண்டும். கஷ்ட காலங்களில் நாம் அவர்மீது நம்பிக்கை வைத்தால், நமக்கு உதவ இன்றும் கூட தயாராக இருக்கிறார். தேவன் கடந்த நாட்களில் செய்ததைப் போலவே, கஷ்ட காலங்களில் உங்களை விடுவிக்கவும் உதவவும் அவரின்  வல்லமையை நீங்கள் நம்புகிறீர்களா? சங்கீதம் 18:2 சொல்லுகிறது: “கர்த்தர் என் கன்மலையும், என் கோட்டையும், என் இரட்சகரும், என் தேவனும், நான் நம்பியிருக்கிற என் துருகமும், என் கேடகமும், என் இரட்சணியக் கொம்பும், என் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமுமாயிருக்கிறார்.”
