Blog # 363 - "Generosity leads to true prosperity."

The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. Proverbs 11:25.

The first part of this scripture says that those who are generous will be made rich or prosperous. In the Bible, prosperity has a lot to do with well-being and flourishing, enjoying the fullness of life as God intends for us. If we want to experience an abundant life, we must be generous. The second part says that he who waters will also be watered himself. Watering takes place in the form of doing a good deed to help others. God has instilled within us gifts of skills and talents to help those around us. We must extend one hand open to God to receive His blessings and extend the other hand to those who are in need. Do you embrace generosity by helping others with the gifts and talents God has given you?  Luke 6:38 says: "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."

உதாரகுணமுள்ள ஆத்துமா செழிக்கும்; எவன் தண்ணீர் பாய்ச்சுகிறானோ அவனுக்குத் தண்ணீர் பாய்ச்சப்படும். நீதிமொழிகள் 11:25.

இந்த வேத வசனத்தின் முதல் பகுதி தாராளமுள்ளவர்கள் செல்வந்தர்களாக அல்லது செழிக்கச் செய்யப்படுவார்கள் என்று கூறுகிறது. வேதாகமத்தில் செழிப்பு என்பது நல்வாழ்வு மற்றும் செழிப்புடன் தொடர்புடையது, தேவன் நமக்காக நிர்ணயித்த வாழ்வின் முழுமையை அனுபவிப்பதாகும். வளமான வாழ்க்கையை நாம் அனுபவிக்க விரும்பினால், நாம் தாராளமாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.  எவன் தண்ணீர் பாய்ச்சுகிறானோ அவனுக்குத் தண்ணீர் பாய்ச்சப்படும் என்கிறது இரண்டாம் பகுதி. மற்றவர்களுக்கு உதவ ஒரு நல்ல செயலைச் செய்யும் வடிவத்தில் நீர்ப்பாசனம் ஒப்பிடப்படுகிறது. நம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவர்களுக்கு உதவ தேவன், திறமைகள் மற்றும் ஆற்றல்களை நமக்குள் பரிசாக விதைத்துள்ளார். தேவனிடமிருந்து ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெற ஒரு கையை நீட்டி, தேவையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு உதவ மற்றொரு கையை நீட்ட வேண்டும். தேவன் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும் தாலந்துகளையும் வைத்து  மற்றவர்களுக்கு உதவுவதன் மூலம் நீங்கள் தாராள மனப்பான்மை உள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கிறீர்களா? லூக்கா 6:38 கூறுகிறது: "கொடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது உங்களுக்கும் கொடுக்கப்படும்; அமுக்கிக் குலுக்கிச் சரிந்து விழும்படி நன்றாய் அளந்து, உங்கள் மடியிலே போடுவார்கள்; நீங்கள் எந்த அளவினால் அளக்கிறீர்களோ அந்த அளவினால் உங்களுக்கும் அளக்கப்படும் என்றார்.”
