Blog # 365 - "Trusting in God's Compassion and Care"

For the Lord hears the poor, And does not despise His prisoners. Psalm 69:33.

This scripture describes the nature of our God as a compassionate God who cares for the poor and the oppressed. In this verse, the "poor" represent those who are economically and socially in need, while the "prisoners" symbolize those who are physically or emotionally captive. The Psalms frequently mention God’s concern for the suffering people in the world. Despite his suffering and rejection, King David maintains faith that God is not indifferent to his pain. He trusts in God's righteous character and finds comfort during hardship. This reminds us that God’s love and care reach everyone, especially those who are vulnerable and in need. It encourages us to trust in God’s compassion and to seek His help in times of trouble. Are you calling out to God or to man when you are in trouble? Psalm 22:24 says: "For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from Him; But when He cried to Him, He heard."

கர்த்தர் எளியவர்களின் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்கிறார், கட்டுண்ட தம்முடையவர்களை அவர் புறக்கணியார். சங்கீதம் 69:33.

ஏழைகள் மீதும் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் மீதும் அக்கறை கொண்ட இரக்கமுள்ள தேவனாக நம்தேவனின் தன்மையை இந்த வசனம் விவரிக்கிறது. இந்த வசனத்தில், “எளியவர்கள்”  பொருளாதார ரீதியாகவும் சமூக ரீதியாகவும் தேவையுள்ளவர்களைக் குறிக்கின்றது, அதே நேரத்தில், உடல் ரீதியாகவும் உணர்ச்சி ரீதியாகவும் சிறைவாசத்தில் இருப்பவர்களை “கட்டுண்டவர்கள்” குறிக்கிறது. உலகில் துன்புறும் மக்களிடம் தேவன் காட்டும் அக்கறையைப் பற்றி சங்கீதம் அடிக்கடி குறிப்பிடுகிறது. துன்பம் மற்றும் நிராகரிப்பு இருந்தபோதிலும், தேவன்  தனது வலியை அலட்சியப்படுத்தவில்லை என்று தாவீது ராஜா  நம்புகிறார். அவர் தேவனுடைய நீதியை நம்பி, கஷ்டத்தின் போது ஆறுதல் அடைகிறார். தேவனின் அன்பும் அக்கறையும் அனைவரையும், குறிப்பாக பலவீனமாகவும் தேவையில் உள்ளவர்களையும் சென்றடைகின்றது என்பதை இந்த வசனம் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. தேவனுடைய இரக்கத்தில் நம்பிக்கை வைக்கவும், கஷ்ட காலங்களில் அவருடைய உதவியை நாடவும் இது நம்மை ஊக்குவிக்கிறது. நீங்கள் கஷ்டத்தில் இருக்கும்போதுதேவனை நாடுகிறீர்களா அல்லது மனிதனை நாடுகிறீர்களா? சங்கீதம் 22:24 சொல்லுகிறது: “உபத்திரவப்பட்டவனுடைய உபத்திரவத்தை அவர் அற்பமாயெண்ணாமலும் அருவருக்காமலும், தம்முடைய முகத்தை அவனுக்கு மறைக்காமலுமிருந்து, தம்மை நோக்கி அவன் கூப்பிடுகையில் அவனைக் கேட்டருளினார்.”
