Blog # Y2 007 - "Born again through Holy Spirit renewal"

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5.

Many believe that salvation comes through the works of righteousness that we have done. However, it does not. God brings salvation to us through the work of the Holy Spirit, who is poured out richly through Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul says that God saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit. He describes regeneration as a cleansing and a renewal, which is another way of speaking about the new birth, second birth, or being born again. We need regeneration because. God will not bring unchanged into His new creation. As Jesus said, unless we are born again, we will not see the kingdom of God (John 3:3), Which is why all of us must be born again. Are you born again, as Jesus and Apostle Paul emphasized? Ephesians 2:4-5 says: "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved."

நாம் செய்த நீதியின் கிரியைகளினிமித்தம் அவர் நம்மை இரட்சியாமல், தமது இரக்கத்தின்படியே, மறுஜென்ம முழுக்கினாலும், பரிசுத்த ஆவியினுடைய புதிதாக்குதலினாலும் நம்மை இரட்சித்தார்.  தீத்து 3:5.

பலர் நாம் செய்த நீதியின் செயல்களின் மூலம் இரட்சிப்பு வருகிறது என்று நம்புகிறார்கள். ஆனால், இரட்சிப்பு அவ்வாறு கிடைக்காது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலம் தாராளமாக ஊற்றப்படுகிற பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் கிரியையின் மூலமாக தேவன் நமக்கு இரட்சிப்பைக் அளிக்கிறார். மறுஜென்ம முழுக்கினாலும், பரிசுத்த ஆவியினுடைய புதிதாக்குதலினாலும் தேவன் நம்மை இரட்சித்தார் என்று அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் கூறுகிறார். அவர் மறுபிறப்பை ஒரு சுத்திகரிப்பு மற்றும் புதுப்பித்தல் என்று விவரிக்கிறார், இது மறுபிறப்பு, இரண்டாவது பிறப்பு அல்லது மறுபடியும் பிறப்பதைக் குறித்து பேசும் மற்றொரு வழியாகும். நமக்கு மறுபிறப்பு தேவைப்படுவதற்குக் காரணம், மனம் மாறாதவர்களை தேவன் தம்முடைய புதிய சிருஷ்ட்டியில் சேர்க்க மாட்டார். இயேசு சொன்னது போல, நாம் மறுபடியும் பிறவாவிட்டால் தேவனுடைய இராஜ்ஜியத்தைக் காணமாட்டான் (யோவா 3:3). அதனால்தான் நாம் அனைவரும் மறுபடியும் பிறக்க வேண்டும்.  இயேசுவும், அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய  பவுலும் வலியுறுத்தியபடி நீங்கள் மறுபடியும் பிறந்திருக்கிறீர்களா? எபேசியர் 2:4-5 கூறுகிறது: “தேவனோ இரக்கத்தில் ஐசுவரியமுள்ளவராய் நம்மில் அன்புகூர்ந்த தம்முடைய மிகுந்த அன்பினாலே, அக்கிரமங்களில் மரித்தவர்களாயிருந்த நம்மைக் கிறிஸ்துவுடனேகூட உயிர்ப்பித்தார்; கிருபையினாலே இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்.”
