"Blog Y2 019 - God's Promise of Restoration and Protection."

Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God, and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. Joel 2:27.

In this verse, the prophet Joel speaks on behalf of God. Prophet Joel assures the people that once they repent, they will know that He is in the midst of Israel and that He will never put them to shame. The phrase "I am the Lord your God, and there is no other" emphasizes the greatness of Yahweh as the one true God and highlights the covenant relationship between God and His people. The last part of the verse promises that God's people shall never be put to shame. This is a powerful declaration of God's faithfulness and His unconditional love towards His people. In the midst of all difficult situations, God assures them that they will not be left in shame. This is the great promise of restoration, showing God's mercy and grace. It reflects His desire to bless and uplift His people when they turn to Him in repentance. Furthermore, this verse is powerful because it demonstrates that God is present and protects His chosen people. Will you trust in God's promise of never being put to shame when you turn to Him in repentance? Psalm 46:5 says. "God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn."
