"Blog Y2 028 - Children of God Through His Mercy"

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26.

It is the mercy of God that has marked us as children of God through faith in Christ. Romans 8:14 says, "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God." Through faith in Christ, we receive forgiveness for our sins and full adoption, becoming sons and daughters of God. See what kind of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God, and so we are. Our privileged position in Christ is based solely on God's grace, not our worth or merit. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us, giving all who believe in Him the right to become sons of God. Do you recognize the mercy of God that allows you to be called a child of God through faith in Christ? John 1:12 says: "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name."

நீங்களெல்லாரும் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினால் தேவனுடைய புத்திரராயிருக்கிறீர்களே. கலாத்தியர் 3:26.

கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசிப்பதன் மூலம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாக நம்மை அடையாளப்படுத்தியது தேவனுடைய இரக்கமே. ரோமர் 8:14 கூறுகிறது, "எவர்கள் தேவனுடைய ஆவியினாலே நடத்தப்படுகிறார்களோ, அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய புத்திரராயிருக்கிறார்கள்." கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசிப்பதன் மூலம், நாம் நம்முடைய பாவங்களுக்கான மன்னிப்பையும், முழு புத்திர சுவீகாரத்தையும்  பெற்று, தேவனுடைய குமாரர்களாகவும் குமாரத்திகளாகவும் மாறுகிறோம். நாம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளென்று அழைக்கப்படுவதினாலே பிதாவானவர் நமக்குப் பாராட்டின அன்பு எவ்வளவு பெரிதென்று பாருங்கள், அப்படியே பிள்ளைகளாக இருக்கிறோம். கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் நமது சிறப்புரிமை தேவனின் சுத்த கிருபையை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டது, நமது மதிப்பு அல்லது தகுதி அல்ல. நாம் பாவிகளாக இருக்கும்போதே, கிறிஸ்து நமக்காக மரித்தார், அவரை விசுவாசிக்கிற அனைவருக்கும் தேவனுடைய குமாரர்களாகும் உரிமையைக் கொடுத்தார். கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசிப்பதன் மூலம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளையாக அழைக்கப்படுவதற்கு தேவன் அளித்த கிருபையை உணருகிறீர்களா? யோவான் 1:12 சொல்லுகிறது: “அவருடைய நாமத்தின்மேல் விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களாய் அவரை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டவர்கள் எத்தனைபேர்களோ, அத்தனைபேர்களும் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாகும்படி, அவர்களுக்கு அதிகாரங்கொடுத்தார்.”

This verse emphasizes that we should repent before the Lord with our hearts, not just through outward actions like tearing clothes as in the Old Testament days. He reminds us that God is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness. God is near to the brokenhearted and those with a contrite spirit. Too often, people speak of repentance but fail to take any real action. God warns against those who appear perfect outwardly but lack inner transformation. When we come to Him with a truly broken heart, God delights in renewing, changing, restoring, redeeming, saving, and transforming us. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God, and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. Joel 2:27. In this verse, the prophet Joel speaks on behalf of God. Prophet Joel assures the people that once they repent, they will know that He is in the midst of Israel and that He will never put them to shame. The phrase "I am the Lord your God, and there is no other" emphasizes the greatness of Yahweh as the one true God and highlights the covenant relationship between God and His people. The last part of the verse promises that God's people shall never be put to shame. This is a powerful declaration of God's faithfulness and His unconditional love towards His people. In the midst of all difficult situations, God assures them that they will not be left in shame. This is the great promise of restoration, showing God's mercy and grace. Good advice is essential for sound decision-making, and it should come from wise counselors. Without counsel, plans fail, but with many advisers, we will succeed. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. Psalm 121:7. This verse is a promise from God to protect us and our soul from all kinds of evil—such as danger, disease, violence, and natural disasters. It encourages us to trust in God's power to shield us from harm and care for our soul. The soul represents the core of a person's being, embodying their spiritual identity, emotions, will, and eternal connection with God. The apostle Paul encouraged the Philippians to live in unity, love, and humility, putting others first. This means actively looking for ways to help and care for one another, fulfilling the law of Christ by bearing each other's burdens. While humans naturally prioritize their own needs, Jesus set the perfect example of selfless love.
