"Blog Y2 034 - Worship God in Purity and Devotion"

Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29:2.

This verse is a powerful statement that speaks to the themes of worship, giving glory to God, and the beauty of holiness. King David describes the nature of worship and the attributes of God. The word "glory" refers to the honor, praise, and recognition that is due to God. As followers of God, we are called to recognize and acknowledge His glory and to give it to Him as an act of worship. This theme of giving glory to God is echoed throughout the Bible. The beauty of holiness suggests that worship is not just an outward expression but a reflection of an inward state of purity and devotion. It calls us to approach God with a heart that is set apart and dedicated to Him. Do you worship God with a heart that is set apart and devoted to Him in the beauty of holiness? Psalm 96:9 says: “Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth.”

கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்திற்குரிய மகிமையை அவருக்குச் செலுத்துங்கள்; பரிசுத்த அலங்காரத்துடனே கர்த்தரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்கள். சங்கீதம் 29:2.

இந்த வசனம், ஆராதனையில் தேவனையும், அவரின் பரிசுத்தத்தின் மகிமையையும்  பற்றிப் பேசுகிற ஒரு சக்திவாய்ந்த அறிக்கையாகும். தாவீது ராஜா ஆராதனையின் தன்மை மற்றும் தேவனின் பண்புகளை விவரிக்கிறார். "மகிமை" என்ற வார்த்தை, தேவனுக்குக் கிடைக்க வேண்டிய கனம், புகழ்ச்சி, அங்கீகாரம் ஆகியவற்றைக் குறிக்கிறது.தேவனைப் பின்பற்றுபவர்கள், அவரது மகிமையை உணர்ந்து, அதை ஆராதனையின் ஒரு பகுதியாக கொடுக்க அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்கள். இந்த தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தும் முறைமை பரிசுத்த வேதாகமத்தில் பல இடங்களில் காணப்படுகிறது. பரிசுத்த அலங்காரத்துடன் ஆராதனை என்பது ஒரு வெளிப்புறமான செயல் மட்டுமல்ல, உள்ளார்ந்த மனிதனின் தூய்மை மற்றும் பக்தியின் பிரதிபலிப்புமாகும் என்று அறிவுறுத்துகிறது. பரிசுத்த அலங்காரத்தோடும், இதயத்த்தில் அர்ப்பணிப்போடும் நீங்கள் தேவனை ஆராதிக்கிறீர்களா? சங்கீதம் 96:9 சொல்லுகிறது: “பரிசுத்த அலங்காரத்துடனே கர்த்தரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்கள்; பூலோகத்தாரே, நீங்கள் யாவரும் அவருக்கு முன்பாக நடுங்குங்கள்.”
