"Blog Y2 039 - Trusting God for Abundant Blessings""

May the Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times more numerous than you are, and bless you as He has promised you! Deuteronomy 1:11.

This verse emphasizes the themes of divine blessing and multiplication, rooted in God's earlier promises to Abraham. The context of this verse is the Israelites, who had wandered in the wilderness for forty years and were now about to enter the land God had promised to their ancestors. Moses, as their leader, reminded them of God's faithfulness and urged them to remain faithful to Him. The phrase "a thousand times so many more" symbolizes abundance, reflecting God's power to bless His people beyond their own efforts. This verse serves as a reminder that God is the ultimate source of our blessings and that He will fulfill His promises to us. Will you trust in God's faithfulness to bless and fulfill His promises in your life?  Psalm 115:14-15 says: "May the LORD give you increase more and more, You and your children. May you be blessed by the LORD, Who made heaven and earth."

நீங்கள் இப்பொழுது இருக்கிறதைப் பார்க்கிலும் ஆயிரமடங்கு அதிகமாகும்படி உங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லியபடியே உங்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பாராக. உபாகமம் 1:11.

இந்த வசனம் ஆபிரகாமுக்கு தேவன், முன்னால் கொடுத்த வாக்குத்தத்தங்களின் அடிப்படையில் பலுகிப் பெருகுவதை வலியுறுத்துகிறது. இந்த வசனத்தின் சூழல் என்னவென்றால், நாற்பது ஆண்டுகளாக வனாந்தரத்தில் அலைந்து திரிந்த இஸ்ரவேலர்கள், இப்போது தங்கள் பிதாக்களுக்குத் தேவன் வாக்களித்த தேசத்திற்குள் நுழைய இருந்தனர். அவர்களுடைய தலைவரான மோசே, தேவனுடைய உண்மைத்தன்மையை அவர்களுக்கு நினைப்பூட்டி, அவரிடத்தில்  விசுவாசமுள்ளவர்களாக இருக்கும்படி அவர்களை ஊக்குவித்தார். "ஆயிரம் மடங்கு அதிகம்" என்ற சொற்றொடர் மிகுதியைக் குறிக்கிறது, இது அவருடைய மக்களை அவர்களின் சொந்த முயற்சிகளுக்கு அப்பால் ஆசீர்வதிக்க கடவுளின் வல்லமையை பிரதிபலிக்கிறது. அவரை  விசுவாசித்து, அவருடைய கட்டளைகளை நாம் பின்பற்றும்போது நாம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும் ஆசீர்வாதத்தின் வாக்குறுதியைப் பற்றி பேசுகிறது. உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் தேவன் அவருடைய வாக்குறுதிகளை ஆசீர்வதித்து நிறைவேற்ற உண்மையுள்ளவர் என்று நீங்கள் நம்புவீர்களா? சங்கீதம் 115:14-15 கூறுகிறது: “கர்த்தர் உங்களையும் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளையும் வர்த்திக்கப்பண்ணுவார். வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் படைத்த கர்த்தராலே நீங்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்.”
