"Blog Y2 040 - Salvation Comes Through God's Mercy"

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5.

Today's verse emphasizes how we receive salvation and grow in our faith. Salvation is not something we can achieve on our own; it comes only from God and through His mercy. It includes "the washing of regeneration," referring to the spiritual rebirth and cleansing that occurs when a person accepts Christ. God washes us from sin through the blood of Christ, and this cleansing produces new life in Him. At that moment, a person’s life is "regenerated" or "made new." The Holy Spirit renews our lives when we come to faith in Christ. The term "renewing" comes from two words: again and new. This renewal involves a gradual transformation into the likeness of Christ, and the power for this transformation comes through the Holy Spirit. Renewal is a profound internal change that begins at conversion. We need both the salvation of our souls and continual renewal to grow and mature as believers.  While salvation grants us entry into heaven and eternity, ongoing renewal shapes us into Christ's image day by day. Have you received salvation through God's mercy? Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God."

இன்றைய வசனம் நாம் எவ்வாறு இரட்சிப்பைப் பெற்று நமது விசுவாசத்தில் வளருகிறோம் என்பதை வலியுறுத்துகிறது. இரட்சிப்பு என்பது நாம் சொந்தமாக அடையக்கூடிய ஒன்றல்ல; அது தேவனிடமிருந்து அவரது இரக்கத்தின் மூலம் மட்டுமே வருகிறது. இது "மறு பிறவியின் சுத்திகரிப்பு" எனும் சொல்லைக் குறிக்கிறது, இதுதான் ஒருவர் கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும் பொழுது நிகழும் ஆன்மீக மறுபிறப்பு மற்றும் சுத்திகரிப்பு. கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தினாலே தேவன் நம்மை பாவத்திலிருந்து கழுவுகிறார், இந்த சுத்திகரிப்பு அவர் மூலமாக நம்மில் புதிய ஜீவனை உருவாக்குகிறது. அந்த நேரத்தில், ஒரு நபரின் வாழ்க்கை "மறுபிறப்பு" அல்லது "புதிதாக்கப்படுகிறது." நாம் கிறிஸ்துவை விசுவாசிக்கும்போது பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் நம் வாழ்க்கையை புதுப்பிக்கிறார். "புதுப்பித்தல்" என்ற சொல் மறுபடியும் மற்றும் புதியது என்ற இரண்டு சொற்களிலிருந்து வருகிறது. இந்த புதுப்பித்தல் படிப்படியாக கிறிஸ்துவின் சாயலாக நாம் மாறுவதை உள்ளடக்கியது, மேலும் இந்த மாற்றத்திற்கான சக்தி பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் மூலம் வருகிறது. புதிதாக்கப்படுகிற மாற்றம் ஒரு ஆழமான உள்ளான மாற்றம் ஆகும், இது நம்முடைய மனம் மாறுதலுக்கு வந்துவிடுகிறது. விசுவாசிகளாக வளர்ந்து முதிர்ச்சியடைய நமது ஆத்தும இரட்சிப்பு மற்றும் தொடர்ந்து புதிதாக்கப்பட்டு வளருதல் ஆகிய இரண்டும் நமக்கு தேவை. இரட்சிப்பு நமக்கு பரலோகத்தில்  நித்திய வாழ்வை அளிக்கும்போது, தொடர்ந்து நாளுக்குநாள் நாம் புதிதாக்கப்படும்போது கிறிஸ்துவின் சாயலாக மாறுகிறோம். தேவனுடைய இரக்கத்தினால் உங்களுக்கு இரட்சிப்பு கிடைத்திருக்கிறதா? எபேசியர் 2:8 கூறுகிறது, "கிருபையினாலே விசுவாசத்தைக்கொண்டு இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டீர்கள்; இது உங்களால் உண்டானதல்ல, இது தேவனுடைய ஈவு.”
