"Blog Y2 060 - Love that goes beyond Nature"

Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. Matthew 5:44.

In this scripture, Jesus challenges us to a love that goes beyond our natural reactions—an unnatural love that calls us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who mistreat us. This doesn’t mean ignoring the hurt or excusing wrongs, but rather choosing forgiveness and trusting God with our pain. Each time we respond with kindness instead of bitterness, we reflect Christ’s love and open a path to healing. Today, let us commit to this love, asking God to soften our hearts and help us bring His grace to a world in need. Apostle Peter reminds us to live out our calling in I Peter 3:9: “Not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.”

உங்கள் சத்துருக்களைச் சிநேகியுங்கள்; உங்களைச் சபிக்கிறவர்களை ஆசீர்வதியுங்கள்; உங்களைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களுக்கு நன்மை செய்யுங்கள்; உங்களை நிந்திக்கிறவர்களுக்காகவும் உங்களைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களுக்காகவும் ஜெபம் பண்ணுங்கள். மத்தேயு 5:44.

இந்த வசனத்தில், நமது இயல்பான நடைமுறைகளுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்ட ஒரு அன்புக்கு இயேசு நம்மை அழைக்கிறார் - இயற்கைக்கு மாறான அன்பினால், நம் எதிரிகளை நேசிக்கவும், நம்மை சபிக்கிறவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கவும், நம்மை வெறுக்கிறவர்களுக்கு நன்மை செய்யவும், நம்மை தவறாக நடத்துபவர்களுக்காக ஜெபிக்கவும் இயேசு கற்பிக்கிறார். இது காயத்தை கண்டுகொள்ளாமலிருப்பது அல்லது தவறுகளை மன்னிப்பது என்று அர்த்தமல்ல, மாறாக நம் வலியுடன் தேவனை  நம்பி மன்னிப்பை நாடவேண்டும். ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் நாம் கசப்புக்கு பதிலாக தயவுடன் பதிலளிக்கும்போது, கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பை பிரதிபலிக்கிறோம் மற்றும் ஒப்புரவாகிறதற்கான வழியை உண்டாக்குகிறோம். இன்று, இந்த அன்புக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து, நம் இருதயங்களை மென்மையாக்கி, தேவையோடு இருக்கின்ற உலகத்திற்கு அவருடைய கிருபைக்காக ஜெபிப்போம். அப்போஸ்தலன் பேதுரு 1 பேதுரு 3:9-ல் நம்முடைய அழைப்பின்படி வாழ நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறார்: “தீமைக்குத் தீமையையும், உதாசனத்துக்கு உதாசனத்தையும் சரிக்கட்டாமல், அதற்குப் பதிலாக, நீங்கள் ஆசீர்வாதத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்படி அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறவர்களென்று அறிந்து, ஆசீர்வதியுங்கள்.”

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth. Psalm 50:2. In this scripture, we find a powerful declaration of God's sovereignty and presence. Here, Zion symbolizes the place of God's dwelling and His glory. It is not only a physical location (Mount Zion in Jerusalem) but also a representation of God's reign, beauty, and His relationship with His people. This setting highlights both God's majesty and His intimate relationship with His people. In the Hebrew Scriptures, beauty is often associated with holiness and purity, used to describe God's righteousness and splendor. God is reminding us of the importance of worship and obedience before Him. When we worship Him with holiness and purity, His divine radiance and glory will shine upon us. Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5. Today's scripture speaks about the meek, who will receive all the blessings from God on earth and in heaven. A meek person is not self-willed and is not constantly concerned with their own ways, ideas, or desires. They are willing to put themselves in second place and submit to what is good for others. Meekness is not weakness; it is power under control. Proverbs 16:32 says, "He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city." James 3:13 says that meekness is denying self and seeking others' interests with humility and wisdom.   I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. Psalm 40:1. In this verse, King David waited upon the Lord without an immediate answer. He waited diligently and earnestly, patiently and perseveringly, until God was pleased to help him. God inclined to him and heard his cry. The word "inclined" conveys the sense of God bending down to David in his affliction, removing any perceived distance between the Lord and His servant. When David knew God heard his cry, he was confident of a favorable answer. In the same way, God inclines to us and hears our cry when we wait patiently for Him. We need to wait for His timing to see miracles happening in our lives. He acts in His own way and at His preferred time to develop our faith in His Word and to enlarge our trust in His unfailing goodness and grace. "We are so precious in God's sight"

Since you were precious in My sight,  You have been honored. Isaiah 43:4 This verse is a wonderful promise. God created everyone of us beautifully in His own image to praise Him.  But many hate and curse themselves when they go through trials and tribulations. Jesus came to this world to save us from all hatred and rejection by giving His own life on the cross to make us more precious. We need to be thankful to Him as we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Blog # 350 - "Seeking God with a devoted heart"

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1. King David, the psalmist, was a man after God's own heart. He wrote this psalm while in the wilderness of Judah, reflecting his deep personal thoughts on God and urging us to yearn for and seek Him. His use of 'My God' reveals a close relationship with the Lord. David seeks God early in the morning, pouring out his heart and expressing how his soul thirsts for Him in times of hopelessness. His life experience encourages us to call upon God in our own desperate situations. God desires us to seek, find, and know Him. "Praise God for His Constant Care"

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Palm 68:19. In this Psalm, King David praises God for taking care of all kinds of people in this world. Every day, He guards the fatherless, protects widows, settles the solitary in families, sets the prisoners free, provides for the needy, and bears our burdens. So, we must always praise Him for the care He provides us. Today's verse says, 'Praise the Lord; praise God our savior.' We need to exalt our Savior, as He not only died on the cross for our sins but also saved us from addictions, deadly diseases, and many dangers and attacks of the enemy. He lives today and forever. In Psalm 18:46 , King David says, "The LORD lives! Blessed be my Rock!
