"Blog Y2 069 - Focus on the eternal, not temporary."

And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:17.

Apostle John reminds us that this world is temporary, and we must focus on what lasts beyond our earthly journey. The fleeting pleasures, fame, and pursuits of this world are short-lived, while the things of God are pure, eternal, and unchanging. His promises endure through all generations, and His love never fails. Let us wisely invest our lives by seeking His kingdom and righteousness, avoiding the cravings and distractions that can lead us astray. Doing God's will involves recognizing what truly brings lasting joy and fulfillment. Are we focusing on the eternal things of God, or are we getting distracted by the fleeting pleasures and pursuits of this temporary world? How can you create more space in your daily life for what is eternal? 2 Corinthians 4:18 says: “While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

உலகமும் அதின் இச்சையும் ஒழிந்துபோம்; தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படி செய்கிறவனோ என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருப்பான். 1 யோவான் 2:17.

இந்த உலகம் தற்காலிகமானது என்பதை அப்போஸ்தலன் யோவான் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறார், மேலும் நமது பூமிக்குரிய பயணத்திற்கு அப்பால் நீடிக்கும் விஷயங்களில் நாம் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும். இந்த உலகத்தின் தற்காலிக இன்பங்கள், புகழ் மற்றும் நாட்டங்கள் குறுகிய காலமானவை, அதே நேரத்தில் தேவனுடைய காரியங்கள் தூய்மையானவை, நித்தியமானவை மற்றும் மாறாதவை. அவருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக நிலைத்திருக்கும், அவருடைய அன்பு ஒருபோதும் மாறாதது. நாம் புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாக நம் வாழ்க்கையை அவர் ராஜ்யத்தையும் நீதியையும் தேடி அர்பணிக்க வேண்டும். நம்மை தவறான பாதையில் இழுத்துச் செல்லக்கூடிய ஆசைகளையும் கவனச்சிதறல்களையும் தவிர்ப்போம். தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தைச் செய்வது என்பது உண்மையான மகிழ்ச்சியையும் திருப்தியையும் தருவதைக் கண்டறிவதேயாகும். தேவனுடைய நித்திய காரியங்களில் நாம் கவனம் செலுத்துகிறோமா, அல்லது இந்த தற்காலிக உலகின் கணநேர இன்பங்கள் மற்றும் நாட்டங்களால் நாம் திசைதிருப்பப்படுகிறோமா? நித்தியமானவற்றுக்கு உங்கள் அன்றாட வாழ்க்கையில் அதிக இடத்தை எவ்வாறு உருவாக்க முடியும்? 2 கொரிந்தியர் 4:18 சொல்லுகிறது: "ஏனெனில், காணப்படுகிறவைகள் அநித்தியமானவைகள், காணப்படாதவைகளோ நித்தியமானவைகள்.”
