"Blog Y2 074 - Hope in God’s mercy and redemption."

O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is mercy, And with Him is abundant redemption. Psalm 130:7.

King David cries out to God from the depths of despair, acknowledging his own sinful nature and desperately pleading for forgiveness and redemption. He implores Israel to put their hope in the Lord, emphasizing that God is the source of mercy and redemption. Similarly, we need to have hope and trust in the Lord despite the depth of our sin and despair. David highlights God's boundless love, assuring us that no matter how far we stray, His mercy and redemption are always abundant. Today's verse reminds us of God's unconditional love and the completeness of His redemption through Christ. If we seek His mercy, He will forgive us and save us from our sins. Are you placing your hope in the Lord, trusting in His mercy and redemption despite your struggles? 1 Peter 1:3 says: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."

தாவீது ராஜா மிகுந்த துயரத்தில் இருந்து தேவனை நோக்கி அழுகிறார், தனது சொந்த பாவ இயல்பை ஒப்புக்கொண்டு, மன்னிப்பு மற்றும் மீட்புக்காக தீவிரமாக மன்றாடுகிறார். தேவனே இரக்கம் மற்றும் மீட்பின் ஊற்றுமூலம் என்பதை வலியுறுத்தி, கர்த்தர் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைக்கும்படி இஸ்ரவேலரிடம் சொல்லுகிறார். அதேபோல, நாமும் எவ்வளவு கொடிய பாவத்திலும் மிகுந்த துயரத்திலும் இருந்தாலும், தேவனில் நம்பிக்கையும் விசுவாசமும் வைத்திருக்க வேண்டும். தாவீது தேவனின் எல்லையற்ற அன்பை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறார். நாம் எவ்வளவு தூரம் வழிவிலகினாலும், தேவனுடைய இரக்கமும் மீட்சியும் எப்போதும் தாராளமாக இருக்கிறது என்பதைக் காட்டுகிறார். இன்றைய வசனம் தேவனின் நிபந்தனையற்ற அன்பையும், கிறிஸ்துவின் மூலம் அவரது மீட்பையும்  நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. நாம் அவருடைய தயவை நாடினால், அவர் நம்மை மன்னித்து, பாவங்களிலிருந்து நம்மை மீட்பார். உங்களுக்கு போராட்டங்கள் இருந்தபோதிலும் அவருடைய இரக்கத்தையும் மீட்பையும் நம்பி, கர்த்தர் மீது உங்கள் நம்பிக்கையை வைக்கிறீர்களா? 1 பேதுரு 1:3,4 சொல்லுகிறது: “நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் பிதாவாகிய தேவனுக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம் உண்டாவதாக; அவர், இயேசுகிறிஸ்து மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுந்ததினாலே, அழியாததும் மாசற்றதும் வாடாததுமாகிய சுதந்தரத்திற்கேதுவாக, ஜீவனுள்ள நம்பிக்கை உண்டாகும்படி, தமது மிகுந்த இரக்கத்தின்படியே நம்மை மறுபடியும் ஜெநிப்பித்தார்.”
