"Blog Y2 079 - Trust in God's mercy and guidance"

The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy. Psalm 147:11.

The psalmist speaks of the favor God shows to those who fear Him and place their hope in His mercy. The fear of the Lord signifies humility, obedience, and acknowledgment of God's supremacy. It embodies reverence, awe, and respect for God's authority and power, recognizing His holiness and the necessity of honoring and obeying Him. Hope in His mercy reflects trust, confidence, and reliance on God's grace and compassion—a demonstration of faith and belief in His goodness and provision. This verse stands as a timeless reminder of the enduring truth: God delights in those who revere Him and trust in His unfailing love. Do you wholeheartedly trust in God’s mercy and live in reverence to His authority? Proverbs 3:5,6 says: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths."

தமக்குப் பயந்து, தமது கிருபைக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்கள்மேல் கர்த்தர் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறார். சங்கீதம் 147:11.

தேவன் தமக்கு பயந்து, தம்முடைய இரக்கத்தில் நம்பிக்கை வைக்கிறவர்களுக்கு காட்டும் கிருபையைப் பற்றி சங்கீதக்காரனாகிய தாவீது பேசுகிறார். இது கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல், மனத்தாழ்மை, கீழ்ப்படிதல் மற்றும் தேவனுடைய மகத்துவத்தை ஒப்புக்கொள்வதைக் குறிக்கிறது. இவைகள் தேவனுடைய அதிகாரம் வல்லமை, பயபக்தி, மற்றும் மரியாதையை உள்ளடக்கியது. அவருடைய பரிசுத்தத்தையும் அவரை கனப்படுத்தி கீழ்ப்படிவதன் அவசியத்தையும் அங்கீகரிக்கிறது. அவருடைய இரக்கத்தில் நம்பிக்கை, மற்றும் கிருபையைப் பிரதிபலித்து, தேவன் நம்முடைய நன்மை மற்றும் தேவைகளை சந்திப்பதை நிரூபிக்கிறது. இந்த வசனம், ஆண்டவருக்கு மரியாதை செய்து அவரது நிலையான அன்பில் நம்பிக்கை வைப்பவர்களிடம் அவர் மகிழ்ச்சியடைவார் என்பதை நினைவூட்டுகிறது.  நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய இரக்கத்தை முழு இருதயத்தோடு நம்பி, பயபக்தியுடன்  அவருடைய அதிகாரத்திற்குக் கீழ்படிகிறீர்களா? நீதிமொழிகள் 3:5,6 சொல்லுகிறது: “உன் சுயபுத்தியின்மேல் சாயாமல், உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் கர்த்தரில் நம்பிக்கையாயிருந்து, உன் வழிகளிலெல்லாம் அவரை நினைத்துக்கொள்; அப்பொழுது அவர் உன் பாதைகளைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துவார்.”

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable  are  His judgments and His ways past finding out! Romans 11:33. Today's verse deals with five aspects of His characteristics: His deep riches, wisdom, knowledge, unsearchable judgments, and His higher ways. We can witness His wisdom and knowledge in the way He has crafted us and our world. We can also witness His decisions and ways concerning our lives as we have traveled thus far in this life. Our God is all-powerful and performs great and unsearchable things in our lives. When we think about ourselves, our knowledge, wisdom, thinking, and planning are limited. When we place our trust in God, we submit ourselves to His immense riches, wisdom, and knowledge, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us in every decision we make. "God desires intimate relationship with contrite."

I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. Isaiah 57:15. God identifies Himself as the great and exalted One who lives forever and whose name is Holy. He created time, space, matter, and human beings. He stretched out the heavens and trampled the waves of the sea. His desire is to renew a right spirit within the hearts of lost souls who are dead in sin. Instead of dwelling in heaven, a holy place, our Almighty God wants to live with us, who are meek, holy, and humble of heart. He also wants to revive those with a contrite spirit and dwell in the hearts of all who believe in His name. "Believers, you have overcome the world."

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. In this scripture, Apostle John refers to "little children" as young believers who are growing in the Lord every day. He encourages the believers as below: 1.   Saying, "You are of God," which means they are of His family; they have  embraced His truth, and His Spirit dwells with them. 2.   He mentions that these believers have "Overcome them," meaning they  have  taken victory over the evil one and the world. 3. He reminds us that the power of Christ, who lives in the believer, is greater  than the power of the world. The Holy Spirit living in us is far stronger than  any attack by the evil one. This scripture should empower us today not to fear the enemy but to trust the Lord and obey His commands. As for me, I will call upon God, And the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice. Psalm 55:16-17. Here, King David speaks of calling upon God's name for salvation. He mentions crying out to the Lord three times a day with a loud voice. Why would David pray this way? It’s because he understands that only God can save him from all his fears, trials, and problems. Similarly, we can call upon the Lord when we are discouraged, afraid, or worried. Jesus bore all our burdens and sins on the cross and saved us. We should also have confidence in the Lord like David, constantly reaching out to Him in prayer and with thanksgiving. He hears our voice and delivers us when we pray continually. I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. Psalm 7:17. This scripture says how King David gives praises to the God of righteousness and to the name of the Lord Most High. This verse encourages us to praise and worship the Lord for His righteousness and His sovereignty. David is praising God’s name as “ God Most High.” We first see "God Most High," which in Hebrew is “ El Elyon ” ; in Genesis 14:18, Melchizedek is identified as "priest of God Most High." This name occurs multiple times in the Psalms. It identifies God as the supreme, exalted sovereign in heaven. We must celebrate all the victories over our trials and tribulations through worship and praise. He is the great king over all the earth. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Matthew 5:14.  The world is lost in darkness, sin, and evil, but Jesus Christ came as the true light, giving hope to everyone. Anyone who believes in Him through faith is rescued from darkness and brought into God's eternal light. When we accept this light, we receive salvation and become the light of the world, shining before others. Like a city on a hill, visible to everyone, let our light shine so others may see the light of Jesus in us—through our actions, words, and how we treat others. In everything we do, let our good deeds stand out in a world full of darkness so that others may see them and give glory to God in heaven.
