In today's verse, Jesus shows Himself as the good shepherd who gave His life on the cross to save us. In Psalm 23, David beautifully describes God as a caring shepherd, praising His love, care, comfort, provision, and protection. David also celebrates how God guides, leads, and restores us when we trust Him. God, like a good shepherd, watches over us, keeping us safe from harm, and even risking His life for us. Jesus, our shepherd, desires an intimate relationship with us, saying, "My sheep hear Me, I know them, and they follow Me."

இன்றைய வசனத்தில், இயேசு சிலுவையில் தம் உயிரைக் கொடுத்து நம்மைக் காப்பாற்றிய நல்ல மேய்ப்பராகக் காட்டுகிறார். சங்கீதம் 23ல், தாவீது கடவுளை ஒரு அக்கறையுள்ள மேய்ப்பனாக அழகாக விவரிக்கிறார், அவருடைய அன்பு, கவனிப்பு, ஆறுதல், தேவைகளை சந்தித்தல் மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பு ஆகியவற்றைப் புகழ்கிறார். நாம் அவரை நம்பும்போது கடவுள் நம்மை எவ்வாறு பாதைகாட்டி வழிநடத்துகிறார் மற்றும் தேற்றுகிறார் என்பதையும் தாவீது ராஜா நினைத்து மகிழ்கிறார் . கடவுள், ஒரு நல்ல மேய்ப்பனைப் போல, நம்மைக் கண்காணித்து, தீங்குக்கு விலக்கிப் பாதுகாத்து, நமக்காகத் தம் உயிரைப் பணயம் வைக்கிறார். நம்முடைய மேய்ப்பராகிய இயேசு, "என் ஆடுகள் என் சத்தத்திற்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறது, நான் அவைகளை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன், அவைகள் எனக்குப் பின்செல்லுகிறது." என்று நம்முடன் நெருங்கிய உறவை விரும்புகிறார்.
