These words were spoken by Jesus to His disciples before His death when their hearts were troubled with fear about what was going to happen. Jesus told His disciples, and He tells us today, not to allow our hearts to be troubled but to believe in Him. Many times, we have fear about our future, which can make us weak. However, having faith in Jesus can calm down our fearful hearts and fill them with joy and peace. If we focus our minds on Jesus and our eternal life, then our hearts will rejoice, and no one can take our joy from us. Let us repeat the words of David: "For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name."

இயேசுவின் சீஷர்களின் இதயங்கள் என்ன நடக்கப் போகிறது என்ற பயத்தால் கலங்கியபோது, இயேசு தாம் இறப்பதற்கு முன் இந்த வார்த்தைகளைச் சொன்னார். தம்முடைய சீஷர்களிடம் சொன்ன இயேசு, இன்று நமக்குச் சொல்கிறார், நம்முடைய இருதயங்கள் கலங்குவதை அனுமதிக்காமல், அவரை விசுவாசிக்க வேண்டும் என்று. பல சமயங்களில், நம் எதிர்காலத்தைப் பற்றிய பயம் நம்மை பலவீனப்படுத்தும். இருப்பினும், இயேசுவில் விசுவாசம் வைப்பது நம் பயம் நிறைந்த இதயங்களை அமைதிப்படுத்தி, இருதயத்தை மகிழ்ச்சியினாலும் சமாதானத்தினாலும் நிரப்ப முடியும். நாம் நம் மனதை இயேசுவின் மீதும் நமது நித்திய ஜீவனிலும் செலுத்தினால், நம் இதயங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியடையும், நம் மகிழ்ச்சியை நம்மிடமிருந்து யாரும் பறிக்க முடியாது. தாவீதின் வார்த்தைகளைத் திரும்பத் திரும்பச் சொல்வோம்: "அவருடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்தை நாம் நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், நம்முடைய இருதயம் அவருக்குள் களிகூரும்."
