Today's word encourages us by reminding us that the LORD is near to those who have a broken heart and saves such as have a contrite spirit. The story of Lazarus in the Bible says that when Jesus knew His friend Lazarus had died, He went and on the way to the tomb He met his sisters and comforted them. Jesus wept when He approached Lazarus's tomb. This shows how much He cares for His loved ones in their brokenness. Only He can strengthen and heal our hearts. Let us repeat with David, "He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds."
நொறுங்குண்ட இருதயமுள்ளவர்களுக்குக் கர்த்தர் சமீபமாயிருந்து, நருங்குண்ட ஆவியுள்ளவர்களை இரட்சிக்கிறார். சங்கீதம் 34:18
இன்றைய வார்த்தை, உடைந்த இதயம் உள்ளவர்களையும், நொந்து போன ஆவி உள்ளவர்களையும் இரட்சித்து, கர்த்தர் சமீபமாயிருக்கிறார் என்பதை நினைவூட்டி நம்மை உற்சாகப்படுத்துகிறது. பரிசுத்த வேதாகமத்தில் உள்ள லாசருவின் கதை, இயேசு தனது நண்பரான லாசரு இறந்ததை அறிந்ததும், அவர் கல்லறைக்கு செல்லும் வழியில் லாசருவின் சகோதரிகளை சந்தித்து ஆறுதல் கூறினார். லாசருவின் கல்லறையை அணுகியபோது இயேசு அழுதார். அவருடைய அன்புக்குரியவர்களின் உடைந்த நிலையில் அவர் எவ்வளவு அக்கரை காட்டுகிறார் என்பதை இது காட்டுகிறது. அவரால் மட்டுமே நம் இதயங்களைப் பலப்படுத்தி குணப்படுத்த முடியும். தாவீதோடு சேர்ந்து நாம் திரும்பச் சொல்வோம், "இருதயம் நொறுங்குண்டவர்களைக் குணமாக்குகிறார், அவர்களுடைய காயங்களைக் கட்டுகிறார்."
