"Those who humble themselves are exalted"

By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life. Proverbs 22:4.

Life, wealth, and honor are found in fearing God and being humble before Him. Humility involves taking an honest look at ourselves, while the fear of the LORD comes from seeing God as He truly is. Humility leads us to consider others better than ourselves, whereas the fear of the Lord helps us to turn away from evil. Those who humble themselves are exalted, and the lives of those who fear God are prolonged. King Solomon said, 'The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom' (Proverbs 9:10). Such reverence for God results in wealth and honor. King David says in Psalm 112:3“, Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.”

தாழ்மைக்கும் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலுக்கும் வரும் பலன் ஐசுவரியமும் மகிமையும் ஜீவனுமாம். நீதிமொழிகள் 22:4.

கடவுளுக்குப் பயந்து, அவருக்கு முன்பாகத் தாழ்மையுடன் இருக்கும்போது ஜீவன், செல்வம், மகிமை இருப்பதைக் காண முடியும். மனத்தாழ்மை என்பது நம்மை நாமே நேர்மையாகப் பார்ப்பதை உள்ளடக்குகிறது, அதே சமயம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுவது தேவனை அவர் இருக்கிறவண்ணமாகவே பார்ப்பதிலிருந்து வருகிறது. மனத்தாழ்மை நம்மை விட மற்றவர்களை சிறந்தவர்களாகக் கருதுவதற்கு நம்மை வழிநடத்துகிறது, அதேசமயம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுவது தீமையிலிருந்து விலகிச் செல்ல உதவுகிறது. தங்களைத் தாழ்த்துபவர்கள் உயர்த்தப்படுவார்கள், கடவுளுக்குப் பயந்தவர்களின் ஆயுள் நீடித்திருக்கும். சாலொமோன் ராஜா, 'கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலே ஞானத்தின் ஆரம்பம்.' (நீதிமொழிகள் 9:10) என்றார். தேவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்  அப்படியொரு மரியாதையானது செல்வத்தையும் கௌரவத்தையும் விளைவிக்கிறது. தாவீது ராஜா சங்கீதம் 112:3 -ல், “ஆஸ்தியும் ஐசுவரியமும் அவன் வீட்டிலிருக்கும்; அவனுடைய நீதி என்றைக்கும் நிற்கும்.” என்கிறார்.
