"Blessed obedience brings abundant fruit."

You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Isaiah 58:11.

The Lord wanted his people not just to participate in religious practices but to reflect their hearts in serving those around them. If they obeyed, the Lord promised to bless them immensely. There is a blessing attached to our obedience. The Lord desires to bless all who abide in him. But, just like the children of Israel, the Lord wants us to do the work that pleases him. In today's verse, our God is not only the provider of all our physical needs, but He is also the fountain of peace and forgiveness, the wellspring of grace and strength, and the never-failing streams of salvation and safety. Jeremiah 17:8 says, "For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit."

நீ நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டத்தைப்போலவும், வற்றாத நீரூற்றைப்போலவும் இருப்பாய். ஏசாயா 58:11.

கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய ஜனங்கள் மத நடைமுறைகளில் வெறுமனே பங்கேற்காமல், அவர்களைச் சுற்றியுள்ளவர்களுக்கு சேவை செய்வதில் தம்முடைய இருதயத்தை பிரதிபலிக்க வேண்டும் என்று விரும்பினார். அவர்கள் கீழ்ப்படிந்தால், கர்த்தர் அவர்களை மிகவும் ஆசீர்வதிப்பதாக வாக்குறுதி அளித்தார். நமது கீழ்ப்படிதலுக்கு ஒரு ஆசீர்வாதம் இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. கர்த்தர் தம்மில் நிலைத்திருக்கும் அனைவரையும் ஆசீர்வதிக்க விரும்புகிறார். ஆனால், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரைப் போலவே, கர்த்தரும் தமக்குப் பிரியமான வேலையை நாம் செய்ய வேண்டுமென்று விரும்புகிறார். இன்றைய வசனத்தில், நம்முடைய தேவன் நம்முடைய சரீரத் தேவைகள் அனைத்தையும் வழங்குபவர் மட்டுமல்ல, சமாதானம் மற்றும் மன்னிப்பின் ஊற்றாகவும், கிருபை மற்றும் பெலனின் வற்றாத கிணறாகவும், இரட்சிப்பு மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பின் ஜீவ நீரோடைகளாகவும் இருக்கிறார். எரேமியா 17:8 சொல்லுகிறது, "அவன் தண்ணீரண்டையிலே நாட்டப்பட்டதும், கால்வாய் ஓரமாகத் தன் வேர்களை விடுகிறதும், உஷ்ணம் வருகிறதைக் காணாமல் இலை பச்சையாயிருக்கிறதும், மழைத்தாழ்ச்சியான வருஷத்திலும் வருத்தமின்றித் தப்பாமல் கனிகொடுக்கிறதுமான மரத்தைப்போலிருப்பான்."
