"God's goodness to those who wait on Him."

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him. Lamentations 3:25.

This verse proclaims one of the attributes of the Lord. We can see His goodness when we wait on Him and seek Him. The prophet Jeremiah expresses his experience when he and the people of Israel went through pain and sorrow in the land where they were exiled. He shared the nature of God and how He was good to them in that difficult situation. God is good to everyone who waits for Him and seeks Him. Waiting on the Lord means trusting that God is in control and will act on our behalf. Sometimes we wait on the Lord for a long time to get an answer for our needs. But if we have faith in God and seek Him with all our soul, we can see the mighty hand of God doing great things for us. Are you waiting for a long time? Our good God will answer you soon. Psalm 130:5 says, “I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.”

தமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும் தம்மைத் தேடுகிற ஆத்துமாவுக்கும் கர்த்தர் நல்லவர். புலம்பல் 3:25.

இந்த வசனம் தேவனின் பண்புகளில் ஒன்றை பறைசாற்றுகிறது. நாம் அவருக்காக காத்திருந்து அவரைத் தேடும்போது அவருடைய நன்மையைக் காண முடியும். எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசி அவரும் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களும் நாடுகடத்தப்பட்ட தேசத்தில் வேதனையையும் துயரத்தையும் அனுபவித்தபோது தனது அனுபவத்தை விவரிக்கிறார். தேவனுடைய சுபாவத்தையும், அந்த கடினமான சூழ்நிலையில் அவர் அவர்களுக்கு எவ்வாறு நன்மை செய்தார் என்பதையும் அவர் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டார். தேவனுக்குக் காத்திருந்து அவரைத் தேடுகிற ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் தேவன் நல்லவர். கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருப்பது என்பது தேவன் எல்லாவற்றிக்கும் மேலானவர், நம் சார்பாக செயல்படுவார் என்று நம்புவதாகும். சில நேரங்களில் நமது தேவைக்கு ஒரு பதிலைப் பெற நாம் கர்த்தருக்காக நீண்ட நாட்கள் காத்திருக்கிறோம். ஆனால் நாம் தேவனை விசுவாசித்து, நம்முடைய முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் அவரைத் தேடினால், தேவனுடைய வல்லமையுள்ள கரம் நமக்காக பெரிய காரியங்களைச் செய்வதை நாம் காணலாம். நீங்கள் நீண்ட நாட்கள் காத்திருக்கிறீர்களா? நம்முடைய நல்ல தேவன் விரைவில் உங்களுக்கு பதிலளிப்பார். சங்கீதம் 130:5 சொல்லுகிறது,  “கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்; என் ஆத்துமா காத்திருக்கிறது; அவருடைய வார்த்தையை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.”
