"Blog Y2 055 - Pursue righteousness with spiritual hunger."

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6.

In this verse, Jesus refers to a spiritual hunger and thirst for righteousness. Righteousness means living in the right relationship with God and with others. We act with righteousness when we live justly, honestly, and faithfully according to God's word. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. We need to pursue righteousness. If we are hungry and thirsty for God, we will spend more time meditating on His word. We will also spend more time singing, praising, and praying to Him. Our hunger for God will compel us to do something to fulfill that need. God will bless us when we seek His righteousness. Will you actively pursue the righteousness of God in your life?  Matthew 6:33 says: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

நீதியின்மேல் பசிதாகமுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் திருப்தியடைவார்கள். மத்தேயு 5:6.

இந்த வசனத்தில், இயேசு நீதிக்கான ஆன்மீக பசியையும் தாகத்தையும் குறிக்கிறார்.  நீதி என்பது தேவனுடனும் மற்றவர்களுடனும் சரியான உறவிலே வாழ்வதை பொருள்படுத்துகிறது. தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையின்படி நாம் நியாயமாகவும், நேர்மையாகவும், உண்மையாகவும்  வாழும்போது நீதியுடன் செயல்படுகிறோம். இந்த நீதி இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை நம்புவோருக்கு விசுவாசத்தின் மூலம் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. நாம் நீதியை நாட வேண்டும். நாம் தேவனோடு உறவாட  பசியோடும் தாகத்தோடும் இருந்தால், அவருடைய வார்த்தையை தியானிக்க அதிக நேரம் செலவிடுவோம். மேலும், தேவனை பாடலாலும், துதியாலும், ஜெபத்தாலும் ஆராதிப்பதில் அதிக நேரம் செலவிடுவோம். தேவனைத் தேடும் பசியும்  தாகமும் நம்மை அந்த தேவையை நிறைவேற்ற ஏதாவது செய்ய தூண்டும். நாம் அவருடைய நீதியைத் தேடும்போது தேவன் நம்மை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார். உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் தேவனுடைய நீதியை தீவிரமாக பின்பற்றுவீர்களா? மத்தேயு 6:33 கூறுகிறது: “முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக் கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்.”
