"Worship the Lord in spirit and truth"

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Philippians 4:4

Paul wrote today's scripture to the people of Philippi when he was in prison. He told them to rejoice in all circumstances. We cannot be joyful always with all the pleasures that this world could offer. Also we can't rejoice because of the burdens that we carry in our hearts. We must find joy in our relationship with Jesus as He is the real joy giver. We should lay all our burdens at His feet as He bore everything for us at the cross. When we trust in the Lord knowing that He cares for us brings joy into our lives. Shall we join with the Psalmist and say, "I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High?"

கர்த்தருக்குள் எப்பொழுதும் சந்தோஷமாயிருங்கள். சந்தோஷமாயிருங்கள் என்று மறுபடியும் சொல்லுகிறேன். பிலிப்பியர் 4:4

பவுல் சிறையில் இருந்தபோது பிலிப்பி மக்களுக்கு இன்றைய வேதப்பகுதியை எழுதினார். எல்லாச் சூழ்நிலையிலும் சந்தோஷமாயிருங்கள் என்று சொன்னார். இந்த உலகம் வழங்கக்கூடிய அனைத்து இன்பங்களுடனும் நாம் எப்போதும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்க முடியாது. மேலும், நம் இதயத்தில் சுமக்கும் சுமைகளால் நாம் மகிழ்ச்சியடைய முடியாது. இயேசு உண்மையான மகிழ்ச்சி அளிப்பவர் என்பதால் அவருடனான உறவில் நாம் மகிழ்ச்சியைக் காண வேண்டும். அவர் நமக்காக பாரமான எல்லாவற்றையும் சிலுவையில் சுமந்தது போல் நாம் நமது பாரங்களையெல்லாம் அவருடைய பாதத்தில் வைக்க வேண்டும். கர்த்தர் நம்மைக் கவனித்துக்கொள்கிறார் என்பதை அறிந்து அவர்மீது நம்பிக்கை வைக்கும்போது, நம் வாழ்வில் மகிழ்ச்சியைத் தருகிறது. நாம் சங்கீதக்காரனாகிய தாவீது ராஜா வுடன் சேர்ந்து, "உம்மில் மகிழ்ந்து களிகூருவேன், உன்னதமானவரே, உமது நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன்." என்று சொல்லுவோம்.
