"Peace and Peacemakers"
This verse is one of the verses of the Sermon on the Mount by Jesus saying that, God blesses those who make peace, and they will be called His children. A peacemaker is someone who avoids backbiting, criticizing, tale-bearing, and quarreling. When we show kindness to those who try to destroy peace and make peace with them, we are rewarded with a title known as 'children of God.' It's not easy to make peace with someone who tries to destroy peace. The human tendency is to counter or cut off that relationship. However, it is possible to make peace when we pray for God's love and peace to fill our hearts. Let us echo King David, "Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it."
சமாதானம்பண்ணுகிறவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள், அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய புத்திரர் என்னப்படுவார்கள். மத்தேயு 5:9
சமாதானம் செய்பவர்களைக் தேவன் ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார், அவர்கள் அவருடைய பிள்ளைகள் என்று அழைக்கப்படுவார்கள், இயேசுவின் மலைப்பிரசங்கத்தின் வசனங்களில் ஒன்று இந்த வசனம். சமாதானம் செய்பவர் என்பவர், பழிவாங்குதல், குறை கூறுதல், கோள் சொல்லுதல் மற்றும் சண்டையிடுதல் ஆகியவற்றைத் தவிர்ப்பவர். நாம் சமாதானத்தை குலைப்பவர்களுக்கு இரக்கம் காட்டி அவர்களுடன் சமாதானமாக இருக்கும் போது, 'கடவுளின் பிள்ளைகள்' என்ற பட்டம் நமக்குப் பரிசாகக் கிடைக்கும். சமாதானத்தைக் குலைக்க முயலும் ஒருவருடன் சமாதானம் செய்வது எளிதல்ல. அந்த உறவை எதிர்ப்பது அல்லது துண்டிப்பதுதான் மனிதருடைய வழக்கம். இருப்பினும், கடவுளின் அன்பையும் சமாதானத்தையும் நம் இதயங்களை நிரப்புமாறு நாம் ஜெபிக்கும் போது சமாதானம் செய்ய முடியும். "தீமையை விட்டு விலகி, நன்மை செய், சமாதானத்தைத் தேடி, அதைத் தொடர்ந்துகொள்." என்று சொன்ன தாவீது ராஜாவுடன், நாமும் சேர்ந்து சொல்லுவோம்.
