"The LORD will revive us"

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; .....And Your right hand will save me. Psalm 138:7

This verse is a great promise for those who are walking through trouble. King David faced various hardships and problems throughout his life. At times, when we encounter major challenges, we may feel exhausted and unable to move forward. Without trust in God, these problems can significantly weigh us down. However, when we call upon the name of the Lord for strength and power, He will revive us, deliver us, and extend His right hand to save us. Let us have faith in God, much like David, and confess, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."

As for me, I will call upon God, And the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice. Psalm 55:16-17. Here, King David speaks of calling upon God's name for salvation. He mentions crying out to the Lord three times a day with a loud voice. Why would David pray this way? It’s because he understands that only God can save him from all his fears, trials, and problems. Similarly, we can call upon the Lord when we are discouraged, afraid, or worried. "Blessings Crown the Righteous"

Blessings are on the head of the righteous. Proverbs 10:6. Proverbs often compares the righteous and the wicked. This scripture speaks of what covers the rig hteous man and what covers the wicked as well. We read that blessings are on the righteous man's head, whereas violence covers the wicked. If we look at Abraham in the Bible, God crowned him with blessings because he was a righteous man before God. He was a man of faith, humility, and obedience before God. The blessing that was promised to Abraham is made available to the Gentiles through faith in Jesus. This blessing refers to the promise of salvation and the inheritance of eternal life. Today, if we obey His word and walk in His way s, we also receive His blessings like Abraham.
