"Christ safeguards us from sin"

He who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18.

Apostle John declares that everyone who believes that Jesus is Christ has been born of God, making them a child of God. When we acknowledge Jesus as the only God and accept Him as our Savior, the Holy Spirit enters our hearts and transforms us from our old selves into new individuals. From that moment on, Christ safeguards us from sin and protects us against the enemy's evil plans. The Bible affirms that whoever has been born of God does not sin, as His seed remains in them, and they cannot sin because they have been born of God. In John 3:3, 'Jesus answered and said to him,' "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
