"Be courageous; God is with you."

Behave courageously, and the Lord will be with the good. 2 Chronicles 19:11.

In this verse, King Jehoshaphat tells the judges to be courageous and do their work well. Then, he encourages them, saying that if they behave courageously and do what's right, God will be with them. Courage means strength in the face of adversity. Today, God is telling us to be of good courage to do His will so that God can do His part. God told Joshua after the death of Moses to lead the people of Israel and asked him to be bold and strong. We often lack courage when we do things with our own desires and wisdom and face multiple challenges from different directions. Moses told Joshua in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."

இந்த வசனத்தில், யோசபாத் ராஜா நீதிபதிகளை தைரியமாக இருந்து, அவர்கள் வேலையை சிறப்பாக செய்யவும் கூறுகிறார். பிறகு, அவர்கள் திடமனதாக நடந்துகொண்டு சரியானதைச் செய்தால், தேவன் அவர்களுடன் இருப்பார் என்று சொல்லி அவர்களை உற்சாகப்படுத்துகிறார். திடமனது என்றால் துன்பங்களை எதிர்கொள்ளும் வலிமை. இன்று, தேவன் தம்முடைய பங்கைச் செய்யும்படி, அவருடைய சித்தத்தைச் செய்ய  திடமனதாக  இருங்கள் என்று நமக்குச் சொல்கிறார். மோசேயின் மரணத்திற்குப் பிறகு தேவன் யோசுவாவை இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை வழிநடத்தும்படி கூறினார், மேலும் அவரை திடமனதாகவும் பெலனுடனும் இருக்கும்படி கேட்டுக் கொண்டார். பெரும்பாலும், நம்முடைய சொந்த ஆசைகள் மற்றும் ஞானத்துடன் விஷயங்களைச் செய்யும்போது நமக்கு திடமனது இல்லை, மேலும் வெவ்வேறு திசைகளில் இருந்து பல சவால்களை எதிர்கொள்கிறோம். உபாகமம் 31:6 -ல் மோசே யோசுவாவிடம், “நீங்கள் பலங்கொண்டு திடமனதாயிருங்கள், அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படவும் திகைக்கவும் வேண்டாம்; உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்தாமே உன்னோடேகூட வருகிறார்; அவர் உன்னை விட்டு விலகுவதும் இல்லை; உன்னைக் கைவிடுவதும் இல்லை, என்று சொன்னான்.”
