"Honor His name, worship in holiness."

Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29:2.

This verse tells us how we should glorify His name and worship in the beauty of His holiness. We praise others for helping us in our difficult times. If that's true, how much more do we need to praise God? He is our creator, protector, refuge, and strong tower, and we have received many blessings from Him. God expects us to acknowledge Him and give glory to His name. According to this scripture, we must worship Him with a pure and holy heart as He is the Holy of Holies. The intrinsic beauty or attractiveness has come because we are set apart and fully depend on the grace and mercy of Christ.  In Psalm 96:6, King David says, “Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.”

கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்திற்குரிய மகிமையை அவருக்குச் செலுத்துங்கள்; பரிசுத்த அலங்காரத்துடனே கர்த்தரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்கள். சங்கீதம் 29:2.

கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தை நாம் எவ்வாறு மகிமைப்படுத்த வேண்டும் மற்றும் அவருடைய பரிசுத்தத்தின் மகிமையில்  எப்படி தொழுதுகொள்ள வேண்டும் என்பதை இந்த வசனம் நமக்குத் தெரிவிக்கிறது. கடினமான காலங்களில் நமக்கு உதவியதற்காக மற்றவர்களைப் பாராட்டுகிறோம். அது உண்மையாக இருந்தால், நாம் தேவனை எவ்வளவு அதிகமாக துதிக்க வேண்டும்? அவர் நம்மைப் படைத்தவர், பாதுகாப்பவர், அடைக்கலமாயிருப்பவர்  மற்றும் நாம் தஞ்சமடையும் வலுவான கோபுரமாக இருப்பதுடன், நாம் அவரிடமிருந்து பல ஆசீர்வாதங்களையும்  பெற்றுள்ளோம். நாம் அதை  ஒப்புக்கொண்டு அவருடைய நாமத்திற்கு மகிமை சேர்க்க வேண்டும் என்று தேவன் எதிர்பார்க்கிறார். இந்த வசனத்தின்படி, அவர் மகா பரிசுத்தராக இருப்பதால் நாம் அவரை தூய்மையான மற்றும் பரிசுத்த இதயத்துடன் துதிக்க வேண்டும். நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் கிருபையையும் இரக்கத்தையும் பெற்று  அவரை முழுமையாகச் சார்ந்திருப்பதால் நமக்கு உள்ளார்ந்த அழகும், வசீகரமும் உண்டாகிறது. சங்கீதம் 96:6 -ல், தாவீது ராஜா, “மகிமையும் கனமும் அவர் சமுகத்தில் இருக்கிறது, வல்லமையும் மகத்துவமும் அவர் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலுள்ளது.” என்று கூறுகிறார்.
