"Faithful Legacy for Future Generations"

 

Children’s children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children is their father. Proverbs 17:6. 

A godly man leaves an inheritance to his grandchildren, and a godly grandfather's legacy should positively impact future generations forever. He should instruct his sons and daughters, grandsons, and granddaughters in the ways of the Lord so that they come to saving faith in Christ, mature in their faith, and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul highlights the historical and family connections in Timothy's faith, describing it as sincere faith that first lived in his grandmother Lois and then in his mother Eunice, and now lives in him as well. Similarly, we should build our generation in faith and glorify His name. A God-fearing man who fulfills his roles and responsibilities as God designed becomes the praise and glory of his children and grandchildren. Psalm 127:3 says, "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward."

பிள்ளைகளின் பிள்ளைகள் முதியோருக்குக் கிரீடம்; பிள்ளைகளின் மேன்மை அவர்கள் பிதாக்களே. நீதிமொழிகள் 17:6. 

ஒரு தெய்வீக மனிதன் தனது பேரக்குழந்தைகளுக்கு ஒரு சுதந்திரத்தை விட்டுச் செல்கிறான், மேலும் ஒரு தெய்வீக தாத்தாவின் மரபு எதிர்கால சந்ததியினருக்கு என்றென்றும் சாதகமாக இருக்க வேண்டும் வேண்டும். அவர் தம்முடைய குமாரருக்கும் குமாரத்திகளுக்கும், பேரன்களுக்கும், பேத்திகளுக்கும் கர்த்தருடைய வழிகளைப் போதிக்க வேண்டும், இதனால் அவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவில் இரட்சிப்பின் விசுவாசத்திற்கு வரவும், தங்கள் விசுவாசத்தில் முதிர்ச்சியடைவதற்கும், நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் கிருபையிலும் அறிவிலும் வளரவும் வேண்டும். அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் தீமோத்தேயுவின் விசுவாசத்தில் உள்ள வரலாற்று மற்றும் குடும்ப இணைப்புகளை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறார், முதலில் அவரது பாட்டி லோவிசாளிலும் பின்னர் அவரது தாய் ஐனிக்கேயாளிலும் நிலைத்திருந்த உண்மையான விசுவாசம், இப்போது தீமோத்தேயுவினிடத்திலும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது என்று விவரிக்கிறார். அதேபோல், நம் தலைமுறையை விசுவாசத்தில் கட்டியெழுப்பி, அவருடைய நாமத்தை மகிமைப்படுத்த வேண்டும். தேவன் வடிவமைத்தபடி தனது பங்கையும் பொறுப்புகளையும் நிறைவேற்றும் ஒரு தேவபயமுள்ள மனிதன் அவனுடைய பிள்ளைகள் மற்றும் பேரப்பிள்ளைகளின் புகழ்ச்சியாகவும் மகிமையாகவும் மாறுகிறான்.  சங்கீதம் 127:4 சொல்லுகிறது, "இதோ, பிள்ளைகள் கர்த்தரால் வரும் சுதந்தரம், கர்ப்பத்தின் கனி அவரால் கிடைக்கும் பலன்."
