"Eternal life through faith in Jesus"

For the wages of sin is death, but the [h]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23.

Apostle Paul speaks about the consequences of sin, emphasizing that every human being born on this earth both inherits and commits sin. Sin, when unforgiven, deserves punishment. Just as every evil behavior is punishable by law enforcement agencies such as the police, sin unforgiven is punishable under the act of God and deserves eternal death. However, God provided a remedy for this death by sending His only Son, Jesus, who died on the cross to save us from our sins. Through Jesus, we obtain forgiveness for our sins and our destination changes from eternal death to eternal life. This eternal life is a gift from God, as we neither worked for it nor earned it by our merits. It is freely given to those who put their trust in Jesus. 1 John 5:11 says, "And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son."

அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் பாவத்தின் விளைவுகளைக் குறித்து பேசுகிறார், இந்த பூமியில் பிறக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனும் பாவத்தில் பிறந்து, பாவத்தை  செய்கிறான் என்பதை வலியுறுத்துகிறார். பாவம், மன்னிக்கப்படாதபோது, தண்டனை கிடைக்கும். ஒவ்வொரு தீய நடத்தையும் காவல்துறை போன்ற சட்ட அமலாக்க நிறுவனங்களால் தண்டிக்கப்படுவதைப் போலவே, மன்னிக்கப்படாத பாவம் தேவனின் செயலின் கீழ் தண்டனைக்குரியது மற்றும் மரணத்திற்குப் பாத்திரமானது. சிலுவையில் மரித்ததின் மூலம் இந்த மரணத்திற்கு ஒரு பரிகாரத்தை ஏற்பாடு செய்தார். இயேசுவின் மூலமாக, நம்முடைய பாவங்களுக்கான மன்னிப்பை நாம் பெறுகிறோம், நமது இலக்கு நித்திய மரணத்திலிருந்து நித்திய ஜீவனுக்கு மாறுகிறது. இந்த நித்திய ஜீவன் தேவனிடமிருந்து ஒரு பரிசு, ஏனென்றால் நாம் அதற்காக உழைக்கவில்லை, நமது தகுதிகளால் அதை சம்பாதிக்கவில்லை. இயேசுவில் தங்கள் நம்பிக்கையை வைப்பவர்களுக்கு இது இலவசமாகக் கொடுக்கப்படுகிறது. 1யோவான் 5:11 சொல்லுகிறது, “தேவன் நமக்கு நித்தியஜீவனைத் தந்திருக்கிறார், அந்த ஜீவன் அவருடைய குமாரனில் இருக்கிறதென்பதே அந்தச் சாட்சியாம்.”
