Blog # 337 - "Blessings Through Reverence and Obedience"

He will bless those who fear the Lord, Both small and great. May the Lord give you increase more and more, You and your children. Psalm 115:13,14.

This is a great promise of blessing for those who fear the Lord. Abraham feared the Lord, and he followed all His commandments, so God blessed his generation, both small and great. When the Bible refers to the 'fear of the Lord' means having a deep respect, reverence, and awe for God’s power and authority. Rather than causing someone to be afraid of God, a proper 'fear of the Lord' leads one to love Him and obey His words. We see that all blessings come through Christ, whose redemptive work has made all necessary provisions. When we love Him with all our heart, mind, and soul, He gives eternal blessings to us, our children, and even multiplies into our future generations. Will you cultivate a deep respect and reverence for God, leading you to love and obey Him, thereby receiving His blessings for yourself and future generations? Psalm 112:1 says, "Hallelujah! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in His commandments."

கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிற பெரியோரையும் சிறியோரையும் ஆசீர்வதிப்பார். கர்த்தர் உங்களையும் உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளையும் வர்த்திக்கப்பண்ணுவார். சங்கீதம் 115:13,14.

இது கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்களுக்கு ஆசீர்வாதத்தின் பெரிய வாக்குத்தத்தம். ஆபிரகாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, அவருடைய கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் பின்பற்றினான், ஆகவே தேவன் அவனுடைய சந்ததியான சிறியவர்களையும் பெரியவர்களையும் ஆசீர்வதித்தார். 'கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல்' என்று வேதாகமம் குறிப்பிடும்போது, தேவனுடைய வல்லமைக்கும் அதிகாரத்துக்கும் ஆழ்ந்த மரியாதை, பெரும் மதிப்பு  மற்றும் பயபக்தியைக் கொண்டிருப்பதாகும்.. ஒருவரை தேவனுக்கு உலகப்பிரகாரமான பயத்திற்கு உட்படுத்தாமல்,  'கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதல்' தேவனை  நேசிக்கவும் அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியவும் ஒருவரை வழிநடத்துகிறது. அனைத்து ஆசீர்வாதங்களும் கிறிஸ்துவின் மீட்பின்  மூலமாக வருகின்றன என்பதையும் பார்க்கிறோம். நாம் அவரை முழு இருதயத்தோடும், மனதோடும், முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் நேசிக்கும்போது, அவர் நமக்கும், நம் பிள்ளைகளுக்கும், நமது எதிர்கால சந்ததியினருக்கும் நித்திய ஆசீர்வாதங்களைக் கொடுக்கிறார். தேவன் மீது ஆழ்ந்த மரியாதையையும் பயபக்தியையும் வளர்ப்பதன் மூலம் அவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்து, அவரை நேசித்து, நீங்களும், உங்களோடு, உங்கள் எதிர்கால சந்ததியினரும் அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெற முயற்ச்சி செய்வீர்களா?  சங்கீதம் 112:1 கூறுகிறது, “அல்லேலூயா, கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, அவருடைய கட்டளைகளில் மிகவும் பிரியமாயிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்.”
