Blog # 341 - "God's compassion calls us to be kind."

Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; Yes, our God is merciful. The Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me. Psalm 116:5,6.

King David describes the nature of God as gracious, righteous, and merciful, reflecting on how God rescued him from many troubles, dangers, and deadly situations. He praised God for His compassion, mercy, tender heart, and grace. Similarly, Jesus showed compassion by healing everyone He encountered—the sick, paralyzed, demon-possessed, sinful people, and servants. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus shares the well-known parable of the prodigal son to illustrate God’s character, highlighting His compassion and forgiveness. God also preserves the humble and saves them. We are called to be ready to show each other kindness and to desire the good of others. Do you have God's compassion and mercy? Psalm 145:8 says, “The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in mercy.”

கர்த்தர் கிருபையும் நீதியுமுள்ளவர், நம்முடைய தேவன் மனஉருக்கமானவர். கர்த்தர் கபடற்றவர்களைக் காக்கிறார்; நான் மெலிந்துபோனேன், அவர் என்னை இரட்சித்தார். சங்கீதம் 116:5,6.

தாவீது ராஜா தேவனுடைய தன்மையை தயவுள்ளவர், நீதியுள்ளவர், இரக்கமுள்ளவர் என்று விவரிக்கிறார்.தேவன் அவரை பல சிக்கல்கள், ஆபத்துகள் மற்றும் மரணகரமான நிலைகளில் இருந்து எப்படி காப்பாற்றினார் என்பதை நினைவுகூருகிறார். தேவனுடைய கருணை, இரக்கம், மென்மையான இதயம் மற்றும் கிருபைக்காக அவர் அவரை போற்றுகிறார். இதேபோலவே, இயேசுவும் அவர் சந்தித்த எல்லோருக்கும்—நோயாளிகள், திமிர்வாதக்காரர்கள், பிசாசு பிடித்தவர்கள், பாவிகள், வேலைக்காரர்கள்—இரக்கம் காட்டினார். லூக்கா சுவிசேஷத்தில், தேவனுடைய தன்மையை விளக்குவதற்கு கெட்ட குமாரனின் உவமையை இயேசு பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறார், அவருடைய இரக்கத்தையும் மன்னிப்பையும் எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறார். எளியவர்களையும் தெவன் பாதுகாத்து இரட்சிக்கிறார். ஒருவருக்கொருவர் கருணை காட்டவும், மற்றவர்களின் நன்மையை விரும்பவும் தயாராக இருக்க நாம் அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம். தேவனின் தயவும் இரக்கமும் உங்களிடத்தில் இருக்கிறதா?  சங்கீதம் 145:8 சொல்லுகிறது, “கர்த்தர் இரக்கமும் மனஉருக்கமும், நீடிய சாந்தமும் மிகுந்த கிருபையும் உள்ளவர்”.
