Blog # Y2 001 - "Praise Deepens Our Relationship with God"

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Psalm 106:1.

We truly praise the Lord when we give Him thanks for what we have received from Him. Gratitude toward the Lord is an attitude of the heart that deepens our intimate relationship with God. Being thankful to God is an act of worship. King David says: “I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1). The Apostle Paul encourages us to always thank the Lord for the grace of God given to us in Christ Jesus. Let us never be slow to return our praises to the Lord. He is worthy to be praised. Even when we are unfaithful, God remains faithful to His covenant, consistently showing us grace, mercy, and kindness. Are you deepening your relationship with God by giving Him thanks and praise for all He has done?  1 Thessalonians 5:18 says: “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

அல்லேலூயா, கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் நல்லவர், அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது. சங்கீதம் 106.1.

நாம் கர்த்தரிடமிருந்து பெற்றுக்கொண்டவற்றுக்காக தேவனுக்கு நன்றி கூறும்போது நாம் உண்மையில் ஆண்டவரை ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கிறோம். ஆண்டவரிடம் நன்றியைச் செலுத்துவது, தேவனுடன் நெருங்கிய உறவை ஆழமாக்கும். தேவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துவது ஒரு வழிபாட்டுச் செயலாகும். தாவீது ராஜா சொல்லுகிறார்: “கர்த்தரை நான் எக்காலத்திலும் ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பேன்; அவர் துதி எப்போதும் என் வாயிலிருக்கும்.” (சங்கீதம்34.1). கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் நமக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட தேவனின் கிருபைக்காக எப்போதும் கர்த்தருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்த அப்போஸ்தலனாகிய பவுல் நம்மை ஊக்குவிக்கிறார். கர்த்தருக்கு நமது துதிகளைத் திருப்பித் தர நாம் ஒருபோதும் தாமதிக்க வேண்டாம். அவர் புகழப்பட வேண்டியவர். நாம் உண்மையற்றவர்களாக இருந்தாலும், தேவன் தம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கைக்கு உண்மையுள்ளவராக இருக்கிறார், தொடர்ந்து கிருபை, இரக்கம் மற்றும் தயவைக் காட்டுகிறார். தேவன் செய்த எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் நன்றியையும் துதியையும் செலுத்துவதன் மூலம் அவருடனான உங்கள் உறவை அதிகப்படுத்துகிறீர்களா? 1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 5:18 கூறுகிறது: “எல்லாவற்றிலேயும் ஸ்தோத்திரஞ்செய்யுங்கள்; அப்படிச் செய்வதே கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் உங்களைக்குறித்து தேவனுடைய சித்தமாயிருக்கிறது.”
