"Blog Y2 030 - Trusting God as our Shield"

The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. Psalm 121:7.

This verse is a promise from God to protect us and our soul from all kinds of evil—such as danger, disease, violence, and natural disasters. It encourages us to trust in God's power to shield us from harm and care for our soul. The soul represents the core of a person's being, embodying their spiritual identity, emotions, will, and eternal connection with God. God’s promise to preserve our soul shows His ongoing commitment to our spiritual well-being. This verse reflects the psalmist's deep trust in God's ability to protect His people, both physically and spiritually.  It also reassures us of His constant care as our Rock, Refuge, Shield, and Fortress. Do you trust in God's promise to protect your soul and shield you from harm? Psalm 34:22 says: “The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.”

இந்த வசனம் ஆபத்து, நோய், வன்முறை மற்றும் இயற்கை பேரழிவுகள் போன்ற அனைத்து வகையான தீமைகளிலிருந்தும் நம்மையும் நம் ஆத்துமாவையும் பாதுகாப்பதாக தேவனிடமிருந்து வந்த வாக்குத்தத்தமாகும். தீங்கிலிருந்து நம்மைப் பாதுகாக்கவும், நம் ஆத்துமாவைப் பாதுகாக்கவும்  தேவனின் வல்லமையில் நம்பிக்கை வைக்க இது நம்மை ஊக்குவிக்கிறது. ஆத்துமா ஒரு நபரின் முக்கியமான மையப் பகுதியைப்  பிரதிபலிக்கிறது, அவர்களின் ஆவிக்குரிய தன்மை, உணர்ச்சிகள், விருப்பம் மற்றும் தேவனுடனான நித்திய தொடர்பை உள்ளடக்கியது. நம்முடைய ஆத்துமாவைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்கான தேவனின் வாக்குறுதி, நமது ஆவிக்குரிய நல்வாழ்வுக்கான அவரது தொடர்ச்சியான அர்ப்பணிப்பைக் காட்டுகிறது. இந்த வசனம் தேவனுடைய ஜனங்களை சரீரப்பிரகாரமாகவும் ஆவிக்குரிய பிரகாரமாகவும் பாதுகாக்கும் வல்லமையில் சங்கீதக்காரனின் ஆழமான நம்பிக்கையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. நமது கன்மலையாகவும், அடைக்கலமாகவும், கேடகமாகவும், கோட்டையாகவும் அவரது நிலையான கவனிப்பையும் இது நமக்கு உறுதியளிக்கிறது. உங்கள் ஆத்துமாவைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்கும் தீங்கிலிருந்து உங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்கும் தேவனின் வாக்குறுதியை நீங்கள் நம்புகிறீர்களா? சங்கீதம் 34:22 சொல்லுகிறது: “கர்த்தர் தமது ஊழியக்காரரின் ஆத்துமாவை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறார்; அவரை நம்புகிற ஒருவன்மேலும் குற்றஞ்சுமராது.”

He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good. Proverbs 19:8. This scripture talks about how to love ourselves. We love our own soul by protecting and guarding it from self-oppression. We need to save our souls from eternal death, and only then we can help others. How will we save others if we don’t have the wisdom to save ourselves? We must embrace godly wisdom and understanding. Divine wisdom is God's perfect, eternal knowledge and understanding, guiding us in truth and righteousness and aligning our lives with His will. As we do this, we are actively loving our own soul! How do we save our soul? Remember that Jesus said if we try to save our earthly lives, we will lose them. But if we lose our lives for Jesus' sake and the gospel’s sake, we will save them. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Philippians 2:4. The apostle Paul encouraged the Philippians to live in unity, love, and humility, putting others first. He taught them not to be selfish or try to impress others, but to humbly consider others as more important.
