"Blog Y2 037 - Praise God for Strength and Protection"

To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy. Psalm 59:17.

This is a powerful promise of strength and protection. In this verse, the act of singing reflects the psalmist's desire to honor and glorify God for His faithfulness and goodness. This psalm is a prayer for deliverance and protection, where King David cries out to God for help while being pursued by enemies seeking to destroy him. In the midst of his distress, David acknowledges God as his strength, stronghold, and fortress, expressing confidence in God’s ability to rescue him from his enemies. By this verse, God reminds us to sing and praise Him in all our situations. Will you sing and praise God, trusting in Him as your strength and protector in all situations? Psalm 28:7 says: “The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.”

என் பெலனே, உம்மைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன்; தேவன் எனக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமும், கிருபையுள்ள என் தேவனுமாயிருக்கிறார். சங்கீதம் 59:17.

இது வல்லமை மற்றும் பாதுகாப்புக்கான ஒரு சக்திவாய்ந்த வாக்குறுதியாகும். இந்த வசனம் தேவனை நோக்கிப் பாடி அவருடைய உண்மைக்கும் நன்மைக்கும் அவரை மகிமைப் படுத்த சங்கீதகரின் விருப்பத்தை பிரதிபலிக்கிறது. இந்த சங்கீதம் தாவீதுராஜா தன்னை அழிக்க முயற்சித்த விரோதிகளால் துரத்தப்பட்டபோது, விடுதலைக்கும் பாதுகாப்பிற்கும் தேவனை நோக்கி சத்தமிட்டுக் கூப்பிடும் பிரார்த்தனையாகும். துன்பம் மிகுந்த நிலையிலும், தாவீது தேவனை தன் பலமும், அரணும், கோட்டையும் என அங்கீகரித்து, தன்னை விரோதிகளிடமிருந்து காப்பாற்ற தேவனுடைய ஆற்றலில் நம்பிக்கையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார். இந்த வசனத்தின் மூலம், தேவன் நம்முடைய எல்லா சூழ்நிலைகளிலும் அவரைப் பாடவும் துதிக்கவும் நினைவூட்டுகிறார். எல்லா சூழ்நிலைகளிலும் உங்கள் பெலனாகவும் பாதுகாவலராகவும் தேவனை நம்பி, நீங்கள் அவரைப் பாடித் துதிப்பீர்களா? சங்கீதம் 28:7 சொல்லுகிறது: “கர்த்தர் என் பெலனும் என் கேடகமுமானவர்; என் இருதயம் அவரை நம்பியிருந்தது, எனக்கு ஒத்தாசை கிடைத்தது; ஆகையால் என் இருதயம் மிகவும் களிகூர்ந்து, என் பாட்டினால் அவரைத் துதிப்பேன்.”

He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good. Proverbs 19:8. This scripture talks about how to love ourselves. We love our own soul by protecting and guarding it from self-oppression. We need to save our souls from eternal death, and only then we can help others. How will we save others if we don’t have the wisdom to save ourselves? We must embrace godly wisdom and understanding. Divine wisdom is God's perfect, eternal knowledge and understanding, guiding us in truth and righteousness and aligning our lives with His will. As we do this, we are actively loving our own soul! How do we save our soul? Remember that Jesus said if we try to save our earthly lives, we will lose them. But if we lose our lives for Jesus' sake and the gospel’s sake, we will save them.
