"All Good Gifts from Above"

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights. James 1:17

This is a great promise today for us. All our blessings are coming from God who is the Father of lights.  He is Light in His own nature, and He himself created light.  There is no darkness in Him at all.  We need this light.  When we allow His light to shine upon us, we receive this good and perfect gift of salvation from above as the light removes all darkness caused by our sins.  Not only that, once we receive this light, we can shine this light upon those who are living in darkness.  In this way, we can even help others to receive the good and perfect gift of salvation.  Let us tell the LORD with King David, "For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light."
