"Teach us Your ways"

“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.”

Today's verse indicates a future time when people from many nations will journey towards the mountain of God where where Jerusalem Temple is located and God is seated and imparts His teachings.  There is going to be a great hunger and thirst for the word of God. If we need to be found in the presence of God on that day, we need to develop a desire to learn and walk in His ways.  In today's world, many nations are raising against God and His Word, but God is preparing a holy nation and the citizens of that nation are the chosen ones who love the Lord.  Shall we turn our eyes from this world and lift up our eyes to the hills where God is enthroned and His word is heard? Let us resonate with King David as he declares, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help?"

நாம் கர்த்தரின் பர்வதத்துக்கும், யாக்கோபின் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்துக்கும் போவோம் வாருங்கள்; அவர் தமது வழிகளை நமக்குப் போதிப்பார், நாம் அவர் பாதைகளில் நடப்போம். மீகா 4:2

எருசலேம் தேவாலயம் அமைந்துள்ள கர்த்தரின் பர்வதத்தை நோக்கி, பல தேசங்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் பயணம் செய்யும் எதிர்காலத்தை இன்றைய வசனம் சுட்டிக்காட்டுகிறது, அங்கு தேவன் அமர்ந்து அவருடைய போதனைகளை வழங்குகிறார். அந்நாட்களில் தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையின் மீது மிகுந்த பசியும் தாகமும் இருக்கப் போகிறது.  அந்நாளில் நாம் தேவனுடைய பிரசன்னத்தில் காணப்பட வேண்டும் என்றால், அவருடைய வழிகளை அறிந்து நடக்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆவலை வளர்த்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்.  இன்றைய உலகில், பல நாடுகள் தேவனுக்கும், அவருடைய வார்த்தைக்கும் எதிராக எழும்புகின்றன, ஆனால் தேவன் ஒரு பரிசுத்த தேசத்தை தயார் செய்கிறார், அந்த தேசத்தின் குடிமக்கள் கர்த்தரை நேசிக்கும்  தெரிந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட மக்களாகும்.  இந்த உலகத்திலிருந்து கண்களைத் திருப்பி, கடவுள் சிம்மாசனத்தில் அமர்ந்து அவருடைய வார்த்தை கேட்கும்படி கர்த்தருடைய பர்வத்திற்கு நேராக நம் கண்களை ஏறெடுப்போமா?  தாவீது ராஜா அறிவித்தபடி நாம் அவரோடு சேர்ந்து சொல்லுவோம், "எனக்கு ஒத்தாசை வரும் பர்வதங்களுக்கு நேராக என் கண்களை ஏறெடுக்கிறேன்."
