"The Lord Protects Us Day and Night"

The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. Psalm 121:6

Today's verse is a promise of how God takes care of His people both day and night. In this world, many face the harsh extremes of severe heat in the day and cold weather at night, along with the threats of dangerous diseases and disasters.  God assures us that there is no need to worry if we trust in Him. His words reassure us, urging us not to be afraid, for He covers us under His wings. As our Father, He protects us like a shield and fortress. Let us echo the words of King David: "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day."

   "You all have a blessed December"

பகலிலே வெயிலாகிலும், இரவிலே நிலவாகிலும் உன்னைச் சேதப்படுத்துவதில்லை. சங்கீதம் 121:6

இன்றைய வசனம், இரவும் பகலும் தேவன் தம் மக்களை எவ்வாறு கவனித்துக்கொள்கிறார் என்பதற்கான வாக்குறுதியாகும்.  இந்த உலகில், பலர் பகலில் கடுமையான வெப்பம் மற்றும் இரவில் குளிர்ந்த காலநிலை, ஆபத்தான நோய்கள் மற்றும் பேரழிவுகளின் அச்சுறுத்தல்களை எதிர்கொள்கின்றனர்.  நாம் அவரை நம்பினால் கவலைப்படத் தேவையில்லை என்று தேவன் நமக்கு உறுதியளிக்கிறார்.  அவருடைய வார்த்தைகள் நமக்கு உறுதியளிக்கின்றன, பயப்பட வேண்டாம் என்று வலியுறுத்துகின்றன, ஏனென்றால் அவர் நம்மை அவருடைய சிறகுகளின் கீழ் பாதுகாக்கிறார்.  நம் தந்தையைப்போல, அவர் நம்மைக் கேடயமாகவும் கோட்டையாகவும் இருந்து பாதுகாக்கிறார்.  தாவீது ராஜாவின் வார்த்தைகளை நாம் மறுபடியும் சொல்லுவோம்: "இரவில் உண்டாகும் பயங்கரத்துக்கும், பகலில் பறக்கும் அம்புக்கும்,  --- பயப்படாதிருப்பாய்."
