"Five 'I's for Each of Us"

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10

In this world, we fear everything happening around us. Today's verse is a great promise of comfort with five 'I's for each of us: 'I' am with you; 'I' am your God; 'I' will strengthen you; 'I' will help you; and 'I' will uphold you. What a great, loving, and caring God we have. God is bigger than all our problems. He wants us to trust Him, knowing that He is enough, no matter what. He is there for us in our difficult times to strengthen us. In Psalm 46:1, King David says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." 

நீ பயப்படாதே, நான் உன்னுடனே இருக்கிறேன்; திகையாதே, நான் உன் தேவன்; நான் உன்னைப் பலப்படுத்தி உனக்குச் சகாயம்பண்ணுவேன்; என் நீதியின் வலதுகரத்தினால் உன்னைத் தாங்குவேன். ஏசாயா 41: 10

இந்த உலகில், நம்மைச் சுற்றி நடக்கும் எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் நாம் பயப்படுகிறோம்.  இன்றைய வசனம் நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் ஐந்து 'நான்' என்ற ஆறுதலின் சிறந்த வாக்குறுதியைக் கொடுக்கிறது : 'நான்' உன்னுடன் இருக்கிறேன்;  'நான்' உன் தேவன்;  'நான்' உன்னைப் பலப்படுத்துவேன்;  'நான்' உனக்கு உதவுகிறேன்;  'நான்' உன்னை ஆதரிப்பேன்.  எவ்வளவு பெரிய, அன்பான, அக்கரையுள்ள தேவன் நம்மிடம் இருக்கிறார்.  தேவன் நம் எல்லா பிரச்சனைகளையும் விட பெரியவர்.  எதுவாக இருந்தாலும் அவர் போதுமானவர் என்பதை அறிந்து நாம் அவரை நம்ப வேண்டும் என்று அவர் விரும்புகிறார்.  பலவீனமான காலங்களில் நம்மைப் பலப்படுத்த அவர் இருக்கிறார்.  சங்கீதம் 46:1-ல், தாவீது ராஜா கூறுகிறார், "தேவன் நமக்கு அடைக்கலமும் பெலனும், ஆபத்துக்காலத்தில் அநுகூலமான துணையுமானவர்."

"Christ safeguards us from sin"

He who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18. Apostle John declares that everyone who believes that Jesus is Christ has been born of God, making them a child of God. When we acknowledge Jesus as the only God and accept Him as our Savior, the Holy Spirit enters our hearts and transforms us from our old selves into new individuals. From that moment on, Christ safeguards us from sin and protects us against the enemy's evil plans. The Bible affirms that whoever has been born of God does not sin, as His seed remains in them, and they cannot sin because they have been born of God. Despite their distress, the Israelites continue to affirm their trust in God's power and His sovereignty over their enemies. It is a declaration of their faith in God's ability to deliver them from their troubles and grant them victory. We see God's protection, power, and victory over everything. We know how David killed Goliath in the name of the Lord. The psalmist says that we shall tread upon the lion and the cobra; the young lion and the serpent we shall trample underfoot with God’s authority. "Let us rejoice in the Lord"

This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 Each day is a precious gift from God; despite the challenges we face, God has called us to rejoice and be glad in it.  To maintain joy every day, we can follow five steps:   1. Seek His face with all our hearts before starting the day.  2. Express our gratitude and praise to Him with hearts overflowing with thanksgiving. 3. Love Him by meditating on His word day and night.  4. Find contentment in Him by counting our blessings.  5. Share His love with others through what He has given us.  As Apostle Paul urged the Philippian believers in Philippians 4:4 , “ Rejoice in the Lord always. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 1 John 4:12. The Apostle John reminds us that no one has seen God in His true form because He is a spiritual being, and our human eyes can only perceive physical things. Like the wind, God is invisible. Even in the Bible, when figures like Abraham or Gideon encountered God or angels, they did not see God's full nature. Today, we don’t need to physically see God to know Him. When we love one another, we "see" God through our actions. When we show love, God abides in us, and His love helps us grow spiritually.
