"God is Our Great Physician"

Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth. Jeremiah 33:6

This is a great promise of healing. It speaks of God’s heart towards His people to bring healing, good health, prosperity, and protection. God wants us to trust Him to receive the abundance of peace and truth. He is our great physician who heals our hearts and gives us peace when we call upon His name. He restores our health and heals our wounds. In Jeremiah 30:17, prophet Jeremiah says, "For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord."

"Christ safeguards us from sin"

He who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18. Apostle John declares that everyone who believes that Jesus is Christ has been born of God, making them a child of God. When we acknowledge Jesus as the only God and accept Him as our Savior, the Holy Spirit enters our hearts and transforms us from our old selves into new individuals. From that moment on, Christ safeguards us from sin and protects us against the enemy's evil plans. The Bible affirms that whoever has been born of God does not sin, as His seed remains in them, and they cannot sin because they have been born of God. "Blog Y2 014 - God Answers Our Prayers Before We Ask"

That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24. The answer to our prayers is prepared before we pray. He is more ready to hear than we are to pray! While we are praying to Him, He hears, answers, and grants our requests, and more, just as He did for Daniel. Gabriel, an angel from God, brought God’s answer to Daniel. At the moment Daniel began praying, God sent this messenger to speak to him (Daniel 9:20-23). This shows the Lord’s readiness to help and assist us in times of trouble or fear and is a great encouragement to approach the throne of grace constantly. He has made large and firm promises of answer when we pray. Yet, sometimes, His answer is a refusal; other times, it is a delay, and at other times, it is the gift of something we did not even ask for. "We need to submit ourselves to Christ"

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2. One of the best thoughts to meditate on is keeping our minds on things that are above (heaven), not on things that are on the earth. As heaven and earth are far apart, they cannot be considered together; affection for one will weaken the other. It is a choice in front of us: whether we choose good or evil, life or death. Choosing evil things will lead us towards death without hope of eternal heaven. Choosing good things will take us to heaven the eternal life. To choose life, we need to seek God, obey His word, and faithfully follow Him. We need to submit ourselves to Christ to be renewed day by day. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper" - The Lord.

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2. In today's verse, Apostle John, the beloved disciple of Jesus, prayed for three types of blessings: prosperity, physical health, and spiritual well-being. God desires our overall success, including good health and wealth. Moreover, God provides blessings in our spiritual life, bringing the joy of salvation and bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit, such as love, joy, and peace. It is crucial to live victoriously, rejoicing in the Lord always, as such a life brings the greatest blessings and peace to our souls. "Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray!"

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2. Today's verse reminds us of the importance of prayer, urging us to engage in it continuously, earnestly, watchfully, vigilantly, and with gratitude towards God. Apostle Paul wrote to the people of Thessalonica in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, 18 , " Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." We need to maintain alertness and focus in our prayer life with an attitude of thanksgiving. Without continuous connection with God, we fall into the enemy's snares, losing our peace and joy. In Matthew 26:41 , Jesus advises Apostle Peter to "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. Psalm 44:5. The verse highlights the theme of faith and reliance on God's strength. Despite their distress, the Israelites continue to affirm their trust in God's power and His sovereignty over their enemies. It is a declaration of their faith in God's ability to deliver them from their troubles and grant them victory. We see God's protection, power, and victory over everything. We know how David killed Goliath in the name of the Lord. The psalmist says that we shall tread upon the lion and the cobra; the young lion and the serpent we shall trample underfoot with God’s authority. In the same way, we can push down our adversaries and trample the enemy who rises up against us. Will you trust in God's strength to help you overcome your adversaries and grant you victory?
