Blog # 331 - "Rejoice, Be Patient, Persist in Prayer"

Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer. Romans 12:12.

Apostle Paul gives three commands in today's verse for our spiritual growth. 

The first command: Rejoice in hope. When our hope is in Jesus Christ, we will be filled with joy and can rejoice in Him. When we trust people and put our hope in worldly things, our happiness is momentary and fades away. 

The second command: Be patient in tribulation. When problems arise, we tend to react immediately. What God expects from us is to be patient during affliction or suffering without murmuring and complaining. 

The third command: Be persistent in prayer. We need to pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. When we stay alert and pray continuously, we can identify the plans of the enemy and defeat him. 

Are you prayerful, joyful, and patient in all tribulations?  2 Corinthians 4:17 says, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory."

நம்பிக்கையிலே சந்தோஷமாயிருங்கள்; உபத்திரவத்திலே பொறுமையாயிருங்கள்; ஜெபத்திலே உறுதியாய்த் தரித்திருங்கள். ரோமர் 12:12.

அப்போஸ்தலர் பவுல் இன்றைய வசனத்தில் நமது ஆவிக்குரிய வளர்ச்சிக்காக மூன்று கட்டளைகளைக் கொடுக்கிறார். 

முதலாவது கட்டளை: நம்பிக்கையில் மகிழ்வது. நம்முடைய நம்பிக்கை இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவில் இருக்கும்போது, நாம் மகிழ்ச்சியால் நிரப்பப்பட்டு, அவரில் களிகூர முடியும். நாம் மக்களை நம்பி, உலக விஷயங்களில் நமது நம்பிக்கையை வைக்கும்போது, நமது மகிழ்ச்சி கணநொடியில் மறைந்துவிடும். 

இரண்டாவது கட்டளை: உபத்திரவத்தில் பொறுமையாக இருக் க வேண்டும். பிரச்சினைகள் எழும்போது, நாம் உடனடியாக செயல்பட முனைகிறோம். தேவன் நம்மிடமிருந்து எதிர்பார்ப்பது என்னவென்றால், இன்னல் வரும்போது அல்லது துன்பத்தின் போது முறுமுறுப்பு மற்றும் புகார் இல்லாமல் பொறுமையாக இருக்க வேண்டும். 

மூன்றாவது கட்டளை: ஜெபத்தில் ஊக்கமாக இருக்க வேண்டும். நாம் எல்லா நேரங்களிலும் ஒவ்வொரு சந்தர்ப்பத்திலும் ஆவியில் ஜெபிக்க வேண்டும். நாம் விழிப்புடன் இருந்து, தொடர்ந்து ஜெபிக்கும்போது, எதிரியின் திட்டங்களை அடையாளம் கண்டு அவனை தோற்கடிக்க முடியும். 

எல்லா உபத்திரவங்களிலும் நீங்கள் ஜெபத்தோடும், மகிழ்ச்சியோடும், பொறுமையோடும் இருக்கிறீர்களா?  2 கொரிந்தியர் 4:17 சொல்லுகிறது, “அதிசீக்கிரத்தில் நீங்கும் இலேசான நம்முடைய உபத்திரவம் மிகவும் அதிகமான நித்திய கனமகிமையை உண்டாக்குகிறது.”
