For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright. Psalm 11:7 Today's verse is about how God always does what is right. Righteousness means being good in God's eyes, including how we act, think, and follow His commandments. Apostle Paul often uses the word "righteousness" to denote a life that is pleasing to God. God loves us when we do what is right, and His face shines upon those who live with honesty and integrity. He watches over those who do good but does not favor those who do wrong or cause violence. When we trust in Him, He leads us in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 Each day is a precious gift from God; despite the challenges we face, God has called us to rejoice and be glad in it.  To maintain joy every day, we can follow five steps:   1. Seek His face with all our hearts before starting the day.  2. Express our gratitude and praise to Him with hearts overflowing with thanksgiving. 3. Love Him by meditating on His word day and night.  4. Find contentment in Him by counting our blessings.  5. Share His love with others through what He has given us.  As Apostle Paul urged the Philippian believers in Philippians 4:4 , “ Rejoice in the Lord always. Better is a dry morsel with quietness, than a house full of feasting with strife. Proverbs 17:1 In today's verse, King Solomon says the importance of a peaceful life. In our daily lives, we see problems and chaos all around us. People fight with one another for simple things, forgetting the importance of relationships. It's better to live in peace and joy than to live in a wealthy house with strife and quarrel.  We can’t buy peace and joy from anywhere. Even people who dine at expensive restaurants can live unhappy lives and have unhappy relationships. Arguments may frequently arise in families, but when the focus is only on wealth, there is minimal common ground for resolving those disagreements. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus says , ” Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.” Also, in John 14:27, Jesus gave His Gift of peace, “ Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you.” Let us look and pray to Jesus and live in peace. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another. Romans 12:10 Today's verse mentions the values of a Christ follower. In this world, people often fail to value each other, displaying traits of selfishness, pride, and the tendency to hurt others with their actions and behaviors. The word of God emphasizes the importance of being kind and loving toward one another while also urging us to honor each other above ourselves. The story of Ruth and Naomi in the Bible serves as a perfect reminder of the virtues of selflessness, respect, and love. By abiding in Christ's love, we, too, can honor and love one another with His sacrificial love. In 1 Peter 2:17 , Apostle Peter says, "Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. He who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18. Apostle John declares that everyone who believes that Jesus is Christ has been born of God, making them a child of God. When we acknowledge Jesus as the only God and accept Him as our Savior, the Holy Spirit enters our hearts and transforms us from our old selves into new individuals. From that moment on, Christ safeguards us from sin and protects us against the enemy's evil plans. The Bible affirms that whoever has been born of God does not sin, as His seed remains in them, and they cannot sin because they have been born of God. It was God who exalted King David, and it was God who made and fulfilled His promises to him. Like David, God wants us to pray for His blessings to be confirmed so that He will be glorified through us. For those who believe and pray in faith, God has given us the legal equivalent of a power of attorney to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. The Bible says that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, He will do so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If we ask Him anything in Jesus' name, the Lord will do it. Many  are  the afflictions of the righteous,  But the  Lord  delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:19. E very day, we desire to live a peaceful and joyful life, but some days are rough and tough. Occasionally, we despise those days and wonder why they occur. I have heard many say that after they start following Christ, they face more challenges. The word of God states that in Christ, we may find peace. In this world, we will experience tribulation, but He encourages us to take courage, for He has overcome the world. If we place our trust in Him, He will deliver us from all trials and tribulations and help us overcome. He who trusts in the  Lord  will be prospered. Proverbs 28:25. Today's verse speaks about the blessings of the Lord when we put our trust in Him. When we trust someone, we feel comfortable being honest with them about anything. God is much more reliable than even our most trustworthy friend. When things are difficult, He expects us to share our disappointments and frustrations with Him. Our trust in Him is not only an act of dependency but also an act of obedience to His Word. The prosperity we can enjoy is when we put our trust in Him and live a worry-free life. God  is  our refuge and strength,  A very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. Today's verse is a great promise for our protection. It says that our God is a rock of refuge and a tower of protection in whom we can hide during the storms and difficulties of life. We need safety and strength in everyday life. The Word of God says that He is our shield, our stronghold, and our hiding place where we find shelter. But our God is promising us a long life and the gift of His salvation to us when we trust Him, love Him, and are obedient to Him. Abraham, the friend of God, died in a good old age - an old man and full of years because he followed God faithfully. King Solomon says that if we keep God's words in our hearts, then the length of days, long life, and peace will add to us. This is an encouraging promise for us today: how God goes before us, making all our paths clear and removing all the obstacles that get in our way. The life ahead of us is not always smooth; it is crooked, hard, and difficult. With our wisdom and strength, we cannot move forward. However, when we trust in God, God's power will break the hardest situations, like the gates of bronze, and set us free from all captivities, as if releasing us from bars of iron. In Joseph's life, God broke the bars of iron and lifted him in Egypt. Have fervent love for one another, for  “love will cover a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8 In today's verse, Apostle Peter says that the power of God's love will cover a multitude of sins, showing us how deeply He loves us. God sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and save us. The love of Christ is unconditional. King David says that as far as the East is from the West, our Heavenly Father has removed our sins from us. Surely, we should forgive others' mistakes in the same way God has forgiven our sins. He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food,  supply and multiply the seed you have  sown  and increase the fruits of your righteousness. 2 Corinthians 9:10. This verse states that our God is a God of provision. It is God who provides seeds for the farmer to sow and supplies food for us to eat. Only God can multiply the seeds that we sow in the lives of others. God provides us abundantly with everything, both physically and spiritually, when we cheerfully give. In today's verse, God increases the fruit of righteousness in our lives when we sow in the lives of others, especially to help the poor. We can go to God with all our worries, anxieties, and fears, trusting Him with everything. We must allow God to handle circumstances that are out of our control.
