I will praise  You,  O  Lord , with my whole heart;  I will tell of all Your marvelous works. Psalms 9:1 Every day, we receive numerous blessings from God. Today's verse highlights the importance of expressing gratitude to the LORD with all our hearts, describing His wonders. We should dedicate more time to thanking Him for how He led us in the past, is currently guiding us, and will continue to lead us in the future. When we lovingly show our gratitude towards God, He will be well pleased with our praises. Supplications, prayers, intercessions,  and  giving of thanks be made for all men. 1 Timothy 2:1 God always wants us to communicate with Him in all circumstances. In today's verse, four kinds of communication with God are mentioned: supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for all men. Supplication involves asking God for something, prayer refers to our communication with God, intercessions involve asking God on behalf of others, and giving of thanks refers to expressing grateful appreciation to God. Jesus is a great example for us; He showed us how to pray for others. Thanks  be  to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57 Today’s verse emphasizes the importance of thanking God for the life of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and granted us victory through His resurrection power. The Bible states that the wages of sin is death. However, if we confess our sins, He will forgive us and grant victory in every area of our lives. Through Christ's sacrifice, we are no longer defeated but more than conquerors. With a grateful heart, let us join David in praising Him: "Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Oh, give thanks to the  Lord , for  He is  good!  For His mercy  endures  forever. Psalms 136:1 Our God is great and mighty. Let us give thanks to the Lord, for He is so good. His mercy endures forever. He is worthy of all our praises. With all our heart, soul, and mind, let us praise and worship the Lord, lifting His name high. He gave His only begotten son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins, and we should never cease to give thanks . Honor the  Lord  with your possessions,  And with the firstfruits of all your increase. Proverbs 3:9 God has blessed us with good wealth and health. It is important to honor God with our possessions. We are expected to give God the best and the first of everything that we possess, including our finances. Worshiping the Lord, spending time with Him, and sharing the Gospel are just a few other ways we can honor our God. He shall cover you with His feathers,  And under His wings you shall take refuge;  His truth  shall be your  shield and buckler. Psalm 91:4 Today's verse talks about how God covers us with His feathers and shelters us under His wings. His truth, God's Word, will be our shield and buckler. God protects us from all dangers, enemies' plans, and schemes, both known and unknown to us. When we trust Him, He takes complete control over us and hides us under His mighty hands. Deuteronomy15:10 Today's verse talks about the blessings we receive in our provisions, as God blesses us in all that we put our hands to. He is "Jehovah Jireh" , who provides what we need. The Bible says that if we diligently obey the voice of the Lord and observe carefully all His commandments, then our basket and kneading bowl will be blessed. His resurrection from the grave gives us hope that we are worshiping a living God. My help  comes  from the  Lord ,  Who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2 In every one of our lives, there are situations that go beyond our control. At that time, we turn to God for help. Today’s verse says that our help comes from the Maker of heaven and earth. He gave His only son, Jesus, to redeem our lives from sin, addiction, depression, sickness, weakness, sorrow, pain, emotional hurt, mental health issues, and bondages. If we trust Him, He is there to help us, heal us, provide for us, and protect us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Let us pray with David, "Hear, O Lord, and be merciful to me! Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Jeremiah 1:5 We need to thank the Lord for knowing us before we were formed in our mother's womb. How precious we are and how beautifully He created each one of us in a unique way. The word of God says that our frames are not hidden from Him when we were made in secret, and His eyes saw our unformed bodies. He has a great plan for each one of us. We need to seek God's guidance to find that plan and purpose in our lives. Serve the  Lord  with fear,  And rejoice with trembling. Psalm 2:11 In today's verse God is expecting us to serve Him with fear and rejoice with trembling. 'Fear God' means giving respect and honor to Him. The fear of God creates a deep desire to obey and please Him in all things.  His majesty, power, holiness, justice are to be greatly feared. The fear of the LORD makes one wise unto holiness, faithfulness and fervency. They are essential to the LORD’s work. You reign over all.  In Your hand  is  power and might. 1 Chronicles 29:12 Our Lord is our Sovereign God. Today's verse says that our God is the ruler of all things and in His hands are strength and power. God's invisible and untouchable hand is upon us, leading, guiding, encouraging, protecting, and strengthening us, giving us courage when we believe and have faith in Him. He will do mighty things in our lives. What we can't do, He will do it for us. Our God is a powerful God. He will make us victorious in everything we do.  He will perform miracles and wonders beyond our imagination. A man’s heart plans his way,  but the  Lord  directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9. We all make our own plans in our own ways everyday. Sometimes the plans we make may be good and honorable but not all the time. Today's verse says that if we depend on God, He will direct our steps. The Lord has designed us with minds to think. He has given us free-will to make wise choices in life. But we fail when we don't depend on God for His direction. When we surrender our lives to God, He sends His Holy Spirit to dwell within us and begins a process of transformation. Transformation does not come easily. While God does the work, we are called to surrender every area of our lives and live in obedience to His will. We need to pray, meditate on His word, and apply it in our lives every day. You did not choose Me, but I chose you. John 15:16 We are all chosen by God for a purpose, and often, we may not fully understand that purpose in our lives. Consequently, we struggle to discern it in various ways. God has created each of us with unique characteristics, fashioned us for a specific role in His kingdom's work. Through prayer and staying connected with Him, we can uncover the talents and strengths bestowed upon us by God and dedicate ourselves to fulfilling His heavenly purpose. In our daily lives, many things may bring us down and lead us to harbor feelings of hatred towards others and ourselves. When we keep God before us, we will never be shaken. Even though our future looks dull and hopeless, God's kindness and peace will not depart from us.   Paul, a disciple of Jesus, declares that the God who initiated a good work in our lives will bring it to completion until the day of Jesus Christ. He also assured us that His love, mercy, and promises will never be removed from us. Let us echo the words spoken by David, "My mercy I will keep for him forever, and My covenant shall stand firm with him." மலைகள் விலகினாலும்

He would have fed them also with  the finest of wheat;  And with honey from the rock I would have satisfied you. Psalm 81:16. Today's verse states that God invites us to receive the very best of His blessings, including the finest wheat and honey from the rock to satisfy us. God is our provider, showing His love and care for us. He is the same God who fed the people of Israel with bread from heaven during times of hunger and provided water from the rock in the wilderness when they obeyed His word. To receive these blessings, we need to listen to His words and walk in His path. The silver-haired head  is  a crown of glory,  If  it is found in the way of righteousness. Proverbs 16:31. Today's verse declares that a silver-haired head is a glorious crown, worn by those who have lived right. Many people may feel disheartened as they grow old, experiencing a sense of rejection and neglect. However, the Word of God affirms that old age is a crown of honor. The Bible states that "wisdom accompanies aged individuals, and with the length of days comes understanding" . Instead of worrying about growing old, we should find joy in maturing in the word of life, which leads to righteousness. My soul, wait silently for God alone,  For my expectation  is  from Him. Psalm 62:5. In today's verse, David emphasizes the importance of waiting in silence, with a focus on God, to receive His blessings. David experienced the power and benefit of waiting on God during his life time. He speaks to his soul regularly, both in good times and in bad. He isn't just waiting; he is waiting hopefully and expectantly for what God has promised, his salvation and his glory. You have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name. Exodus 33:17 It's a comforting thought for each of us today to know that we have found grace in God's sight. If He knows us by name, He also understands our needs and what we are going through in our lives. He protects us, bestows grace upon us, and provides all the good things we need for our day-to-day living. The  Lord   is  near to those who have a broken heart,  And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18 Today's word encourages us by reminding us that the LORD is near to those who have a broken heart and saves such as have a contrite spirit. The story of Lazarus in the Bible says that when Jesus knew His friend Lazarus had died, He went and on the way to the tomb He met  his sisters and comforted them. Jesus wept when He approached Lazarus's tomb. This shows how much He cares for His loved ones in their brokenness. Only He can strengthen and heal our hearts. A faithful man will abound with blessings. Proverbs 28:20. Being faithful means having trust and loyalty. God is faithful to us, whether we do good or bad. He expects the same faithfulness in our relationship with Him and with others. If we follow Him faithfully, we can expect to receive the blessings reserved for us. Today's verse is a promise for the righteous people who faithfully follow the Word of God. Peter, Jesus' disciple, has already made it clear that Jesus, perfectly righteous, paid the penalty for our sins when He died on the cross. The Bible says that those who trust in Christ have been made righteous by what He has done for us. The righteous  man  walks in his integrity;  His children  are  blessed after him. Proverbs 20:7 This verse is telling us today about the blessings of a righteous man who walks blamelessly.
