"Blog Y2 025 - Embrace God's wisdom for eternal life."

Image
He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; He who keeps understanding will find good. Proverbs 19:8. This scripture talks about how to love ourselves. We love our own soul by protecting and guarding it from self-oppression. We need to save our souls from eternal death, and only then we can help others. How will we save others if we don’t have the wisdom to save ourselves? We must embrace godly wisdom and understanding. Divine wisdom is God's perfect, eternal knowledge and understanding, guiding us in truth and righteousness and aligning our lives with His will. As we do this, we are actively loving our own soul! How do we save our soul? Remember that Jesus said if we try to save our earthly lives, we will lose them. But if we lose our lives for Jesus' sake and the gospel’s sake, we will save them. Jesus embraces a view of life that focuses on our eternal life and that of those around us. Anyone who lives this way will find life good, as this life aligns with God’s wisdom. Will you ...

"Blog Y2 024 - Unity Through Humility and Love"

Image
With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:2,3. Apostle Paul urges the Ephesians to protect the unity of the Spirit, a unity created by the Holy Spirit rather than human effort. We maintain this unity through humility, meekness, patience, forbearance, and love—traits that define our relationships with others. Humility opposes pride, meekness embodies strength with gentleness, longsuffering endures hardship, and forbearance holds back from retaliation. Love seeks the good of others. Though spiritual unity is internal and unseen, it manifests outwardly in our character. Do you strive to maintain the unity of the Spirit in your relationships with others? 1 Peter 3:8 says: "Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;" மிகுந்த மனத்தாழ்மையும் சாந்தமும் நீடிய பொறுமையும் உடையவர்களாய்,...

"Blog Y2 023 - You are Called to Love and Follow God"

Image
I drew them with gentle cords, with bands of love, and I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck. I stooped and fed them. Hosea 11:4. Just as a father loves his son, so God loved Israel and delivered His people from slavery in Egypt. Though they turned to idols, God’s love remained, and He cared for them. He demonstrated His love by sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for us. Through His teachings, suffering, and death, He redeems and transforms us, binding us to Himself. In return, we are called to love Him for all He has done and continues to do. He desires a close relationship with us daily. Will you love God and seek a closer relationship with Him for all He has done for you? John 6:44 says: "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day."

"Blog Y2 022 - Honor God's Greatness and Holiness"

Image
Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in His holy mountain. Psalm 48:1. This verse speaks about how great God is and how deserving He is of praise. The first part talks about God’s greatness, highlighting His power and how awe-inspiring He is. Throughout the Bible, God is described as great in His power, love, and mercy. The second part of the verse mentions the city of God and the mountain of His holiness, symbolizing God’s presence and His holy nature. It represents a place where God is honored, and His holiness is recognized. This verse reminds us to acknowledge God’s greatness in our lives and give Him the praise He deserves. Will you honor God and follow His holiness in your life? Psalm 99:2,3 says:  "The Lord is great in Zion, And He is high above all the peoples. Let them praise Your great and awesome name—He is holy." கர்த்தர் பெரியவர், அவர் நமது தேவனுடைய நகரத்திலும், தமது பரிசுத்த பர்வதத்திலும் மிகவும் துதிக்கப்படத்தக்கவர். சங்கீதம் 4...

"Blog Y2 021 - Sow Righteousness for a Fruitful Harvest."

Image
Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you. Hosea 10:12. The prophet Hosea instructs the people to sow righteousness and break up unplowed ground in order to reap the fruit of God's unconditional love. The Apostle Paul reminds us that "we reap what we sow," whether it be for evil or for good. He calls us to open our hearts fully to God, like a farmer preparing soil for planting. Just as unplowed ground must be broken for seeds to grow, our hearts need to be cleared of sin through repentance. The time to act is now—sow good seeds of righteousness today to reap in mercy. Don’t delay, as the best harvest comes from the best preparation. Are you willing to break up the unplowed ground of your heart and sow seeds of righteousness to reap God’s mercy?  James 3:18 says: "Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace." நீங்கள் நீதி...

"Blog Y2 020 - True Repentance Comes from the Heart"

Image
So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm. Joel 2:13. This verse emphasizes that we should repent before the Lord with our hearts, not just through outward actions like tearing clothes as in the Old Testament days. He reminds us that God is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in kindness. God is near to the brokenhearted and those with a contrite spirit. Too often, people speak of repentance but fail to take any real action. God warns against those who appear perfect outwardly but lack inner transformation. When we come to Him with a truly broken heart, God delights in renewing, changing, restoring, redeeming, saving, and transforming us. He is pleased when we turn from our sins with fasting, weeping, and mourning. Are you seeking God with a heart willing to change? Psalm 34:18 says: "The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And...

"Blog Y2 019 - God's Promise of Restoration and Protection."

Image
Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God, and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame. Joel 2:27. In this verse, the prophet Joel speaks on behalf of God. Prophet Joel assures the people that once they repent, they will know that He is in the midst of Israel and that He will never put them to shame. The phrase "I am the Lord your God, and there is no other" emphasizes the greatness of Yahweh as the one true God and highlights the covenant relationship between God and His people. The last part of the verse promises that God's people shall never be put to shame. This is a powerful declaration of God's faithfulness and His unconditional love towards His people. In the midst of all difficult situations, God assures them that they will not be left in shame. This is the great promise of restoration, showing God's mercy and grace. It reflects His desire to bless and uplift His people when they turn to Him in repentance...

"Blog Y2 018 - God’s Voice Brings Comfort and Peace."

Image
The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty. Psalm 29:4. King David describes the voice of the Lord as powerful and full of majesty. This verse shows that God is King, with the power to command all His creations. God's voice is full of majesty, splendor, honor, and glory, and it is beautiful to those who love Him. His voice straightens all the crooked places. Satan trembles at the sound of His voice. We need to hear His voice and listen to Him in the midst of all the noise, such as the chaos and violence in the world.  His voice gives us comfort and peace in difficult times. Just a word from Him grants us wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. The truth is that His people can hear such a powerful and majestic voice, as Jesus said in John 10:27: "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."

"Blog Y2 017 - Shine Your Light for Christ"

Image
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Matthew 5:14.  The world is lost in darkness, sin, and evil, but Jesus Christ came as the true light, giving hope to everyone. Anyone who believes in Him through faith is rescued from darkness and brought into God's eternal light. When we accept this light, we receive salvation and become the light of the world, shining before others. Like a city on a hill, visible to everyone, let our light shine so others may see the light of Jesus in us—through our actions, words, and how we treat others. In everything we do, let our good deeds stand out in a world full of darkness so that others may see them and give glory to God in heaven. Are you letting your light shine in a way that others can see the light of Jesus through your actions and words?   1 Peter 2:9 says, "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who call...

"Blog Y2 016 - Wise Counsel Leads to Success"

Image
Plans are established by counsel; By wise counsel wage war. Proverbs 20:18. Today's verse says that plans are established by seeking advice. Good advice is essential for sound decision-making, and it should come from wise counselors. Without counsel, plans fail, but with many advisers, we will succeed. The Bible mentions kings who, by listening to wise people like Joseph and Daniel, were able to save their nations. God has given us the ability to learn and grow from one another. We gain wisdom by listening to others.  Seeking advice requires humility—it means admitting that we do not know everything and that others may have valuable insights. When seeking advice, it is important to seek godly counsel  that aligns with God's Word and His will. This will help us make wise decisions. Are you seeking godly counsel and wise advice before making important decisions? Proverbs 24:6 says: "For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is s...

"Blog Y2 015 - Trust God's Strength in Every Need"

Image
The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But deliverance is of the Lord. Proverbs 21:31. This verse is a powerful reminder of the balance between our efforts and God's sovereignty. The image of the horse being prepared for battle signifies the importance of readiness, hard work, and preparation in our lives, especially in times of conflict and struggle. The horse, a powerful and essential tool in ancient warfare, had to be ready for success. However, the second part of the verse shifts our focus from human effort to divine intervention. Despite our best efforts and preparations, our safety and security ultimately come from God. In times of battle and adversity, we are called to rely on the Lord for deliverance and protection. We must trust in God's power and strength in every area of our lives. Are you trusting in God's power and strength for deliverance, even as you prepare and work hard in times of struggle? Psalm 20:7 says: "Some trust in chariots, and some in...

"Blog Y2 014 - God Answers Our Prayers Before We Ask"

Image
That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24. The answer to our prayers is prepared before we pray. He is more ready to hear than we are to pray! While we are praying to Him, He hears, answers, and grants our requests, and more, just as He did for Daniel. Gabriel, an angel from God, brought God’s answer to Daniel. At the moment Daniel began praying, God sent this messenger to speak to him (Daniel 9:20-23). This shows the Lord’s readiness to help and assist us in times of trouble or fear and is a great encouragement to approach the throne of grace constantly. He has made large and firm promises of answer when we pray. Yet, sometimes, His answer is a refusal; other times, it is a delay, and at other times, it is the gift of something we did not even ask for. Are you confident that God hears and answers your prayers, even before you pray, just as He did for Daniel?  Psalm 91:15 says: "He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;...

Blog # Y2 013 - "God Turns Troubles into Blessings"

Image
Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, And the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down, For My people who have sought Me. Isaiah 65:10. Today's verse speaks about God's blessings in store for His chosen people who are saved through Jesus Christ. Let us explore what God says about the two places mentioned in this verse: Sharon and the Valley of Achor. Sharon refers to the plain south of Mount Carmel, situated between the central mountain range and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a fertile agricultural area. The Valley of Achor, located northwest of Jericho on the northern border of the tribe of Judah, is where the Israelites executed Achan and his household. 'Achor' means 'trouble' or 'affliction,' signifying severe trouble. The troubles of the past are reversed and replaced with blessings when we seek Him faithfully, and He even reverses the curses, as Jesus took all our curses upon Himself. Just as Sharon represents a place of fruitfulness and Achor, a ...

Blog # Y2 012 - "Prepare Your Heart for Worship"

Image
Walk prudently when you go to the house of God; and draw near to hear rather than to give the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil. Ecclesiastes 5:1. This scripture is a warning not to approach God's house without humility and careful thought. Proper preparation for worship is more important than the act of worship itself, especially if that worship is done without understanding. The reason why the "sacrifice of fools" is meaningless is that they lack knowledge—they don't want to listen and hear from God. This can happen in our lives as well. How many times do we attend church without preparing our hearts and minds? If we remain ignorant, our worship will not be acceptable to God. What is your attitude towards God when you go to church? We need to search our hearts to see whether we fear God and give Him reverence before entering His presence.  Romans 12:1 says: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present yo...

Blog # Y2 011 - "Calling on God with Confidence"

Image
As for me, I will call upon God, And the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice. Psalm 55:16-17. Here, King David speaks of calling upon God's name for salvation. He mentions crying out to the Lord three times a day with a loud voice. Why would David pray this way? It’s because he understands that only God can save him from all his fears, trials, and problems. Similarly, we can call upon the Lord when we are discouraged, afraid, or worried. Jesus bore all our burdens and sins on the cross and saved us. We should also have confidence in the Lord like David, constantly reaching out to Him in prayer and with thanksgiving. He hears our voice and delivers us when we pray continually. When you are afraid, do you cry out to the Lord with confidence in prayer?   Jeremiah 33:3 says: "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." நானோ தேவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவேன்...

Blog # Y2 010 - "Jesus: Our Faithful Friend Forever"

Image
A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24. Today’s verse talks about how a friend can be more faithful than a brother. Friendship requires good character, and good friends can sometimes be even closer than family. Here, we see Jesus telling His disciples that He is our true friend. Christ’s statement in John 15:13-15 demonstrates His boundless love for us. Jesus died for our sins, showing what true, selfless love looks like. If we have Jesus as our true friend, He will help us in all our ways, guide us, and lead us to eternal life. Whenever we call upon Him in times of trouble, He helps us. His love is amazing. Are you relying on Jesus as your true friend who guides and helps you in times of trouble? James 2:23 says: “And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.” சிநேகிதருள்ளவன் சிநேகம் பாராட்டவேண்டும்; ...

Blog # Y2 009 - "Jesus Christ, the light brings healing and joy"

Image
Moreover the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord binds up the bruise of His people and heals the stroke of their wound. Isaiah 30:26. This verse highlights the compassionate nature of God, who, despite our failures and defiance, remains ever-ready to heal and restore. God promises to bless nature with abundance. The sun's brightness will increase sevenfold like the light of seven days. Light, as opposed to darkness, is part of God's blessing. This light, symbolizing knowledge, shall increase. It is the light that came down to earth from heaven, the light that the gospel brought into the world, proclaiming healing to the broken-hearted. When we call on His name, He heals our wounds and sets us free from all grievances and afflictions. One day, Jesus Christ, this light will return and take us to be with Him. Then there will be no more sorrow and no more pain, for His co...

Blog # Y2 008 - "How to listen God's voice Daily"

Image
Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21. This verse explains how to hear and follow God's voice. God speaks to us in various ways, and we can prepare by being still and clearing away distractions. This "quiet time" practice helps us focus on Christ. The more time we spend in His presence, the better we’ll recognize His voice. Prayerfully reading the Bible is the best way to do this. When we surrender to God and invite Him to speak, we can hear His gentle voice. God wants us to rely on Him and listen to His direction in everything we do. He desires for us to become all that He created us to be. He has a plan to guide us there, but we must be obedient and follow His leading. Are you spending quiet time in God's presence to better recognize His voice and follow His guidance in your life?  Proverbs 3:6 says: "In all your ways acknowledge Him, An...

Blog # Y2 007 - "Born again through Holy Spirit renewal"

Image
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5. Many believe that salvation comes through the works of righteousness that we have done. However, it does not. God brings salvation to us through the work of the Holy Spirit, who is poured out richly through Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul says that God saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit. He describes regeneration as a cleansing and a renewal, which is another way of speaking about the new birth, second birth, or being born again. We need regeneration because. God will not bring unchanged into His new creation. As Jesus said, unless we are born again, we will not see the kingdom of God (John 3:3), Which is why all of us must be born again. Are you born again, as Jesus and Apostle Paul emphasized? Ephesians 2:4-5 says: "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love wi...

Blog # Y2 006 - "Seeking God's Guidance Every Day"

Image
I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. Isaiah 48:17. This is God's promise that He will teach us and guide us in the way we should go. Every day, we need to seek Him through His Word, asking for wisdom to be led and guided in the way we should go. King David speaks in Psalm 23 about how God leads him as a shepherd leads his sheep. God leads His people to green pastures and along the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. He restores His children and protects them from all dangers. He prepares all heavenly blessings for His children when we seek Him more. Are you seeking God's guidance and wisdom every day to follow the path He has prepared for you?   Psalm 32:8 says: "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye."

Blog # Y2 005 - "Meekness Brings Peace and Blessings"

Image
Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5. Today's scripture speaks about the meek, who will receive all the blessings from God on earth and in heaven. A meek person is not self-willed and is not constantly concerned with their own ways, ideas, or desires. They are willing to put themselves in second place and submit to what is good for others. Meekness is not weakness; it is power under control. Proverbs 16:32 says, "He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city." James 3:13 says that meekness is denying self and seeking others' interests with humility and wisdom. To inherit the earth means having peace with God and with men.  Are you seeking the fruit of meekness in your life?   Psalm 37:11 says: "But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace." சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் பூமியைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுவார்கள். ...

Blog # Y2 004 - "Compassion and Purity Reflect True Faith"

Image
Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. James 1:27. Apostle James describes “pure and genuine religion” as the kind that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless: caring for orphans and widows in their distress, and keeping oneself unpolluted by the world. He highlights three signs that prove our religion is real: it impacts our conversation, our compassion, and our character. Pure religion involves loving God and others, especially those who are alone, forgotten, or in trouble, with the right motives. It recognizes the distress in the world and moves to meet that need.  Prophet Zechariah says that not to oppress the widow or the fatherless (Zechariah 7:10). "You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child." (Exodus 22:22).  God expects us to take action in helping orphans and widows at any time. Are you showing compassion to orphans and widows and keepin...

Blog # Y2 003 - "Listen Quickly, Speak and Anger Slowly"

Image
So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. James 1:19. Apostle James instructed the followers of Christ to focus on three key commands:  Be swift to hear,  Slow to speak, Slow to wrath.  First:  "Be swift to hear" means being quick to listen. We often rush to do things that don’t matter, but if we listen to God's voice, we’ll move in the right direction, where He wants us to be.  Second:  "Slow to speak" means to talk less. Before speaking, we should slow down, wait, and think about our words.  Third:  "Slow to wrath" means calm down. Anger is an emotion that must be controlled.  If we’re quick to listen, we’ll be slow to speak. But if we’re slow to listen, we’ll likely be quick to speak, and quick speaking often leads to quick anger. The angrier we get, the faster we speak and the less we hear. We must ask God for help to control our anger. When we focus on God and abide in Him, we can overcom...

Blog # Y2 002 - "Choose God's Will Over the World"

Image
And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:17. There is a clear contrast between the two statements in this verse. Those who follow God's will live forever, while those who chase temporary worldly things will lose their life. The believers who please the world will lose their reward. The choice before us is whether to do God's will or satisfy our fleshly desires. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are called to follow His words and live with the mind of Christ, striving to do His will. However, if after receiving salvation we fall into worldly temptations—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—we will not enter into heaven. Many of us desire to do God's will, but are not willing to sacrifice what is necessary to please Him. Are you willing to sacrifice worldly desires in order to follow God's will and receive eternal life? Romans 12:2 says: "And do not be conformed to...

Blog # Y2 001 - "Praise Deepens Our Relationship with God"

Image
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Psalm 106:1. We truly praise the Lord when we give Him thanks for what we have received from Him. Gratitude toward the Lord is an attitude of the heart that deepens our intimate relationship with God. Being thankful to God is an act of worship. King David says: “I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1). The Apostle Paul encourages us to always thank the Lord for the grace of God given to us in Christ Jesus. Let us never be slow to return our praises to the Lord. He is worthy to be praised. Even when we are unfaithful, God remains faithful to His covenant, consistently showing us grace, mercy, and kindness. Are you deepening your relationship with God by giving Him thanks and praise for all He has done?   1 Thessalonians 5:18 says: “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” அல்லேலூயா, கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் ...

Blog # 365 - "Trusting in God's Compassion and Care"

Image
For the Lord hears the poor, And does not despise His prisoners. Psalm 69:33. This scripture describes the nature of our God as a compassionate God who cares for the poor and the oppressed. In this verse, the "poor" represent those who are economically and socially in need, while the "prisoners" symbolize those who are physically or emotionally captive. The Psalms frequently mention God’s concern for the suffering people in the world. Despite his suffering and rejection, King David maintains faith that God is not indifferent to his pain. He trusts in God's righteous character and finds comfort during hardship. This reminds us that God’s love and care reach everyone, especially those who are vulnerable and in need. It encourages us to trust in God’s compassion and to seek His help in times of trouble. Are you calling out to God or to man when you are in trouble? Psalm 22:24 says: "For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor h...

Blog # 364 - "Choose righteousness for eternal life."

Image
In the way of righteousness is life, And in its pathway there is no death. Proverbs 12:28. This verse uses life and death as symbols. Life represents abundance, vitality, and blessings, while death symbolizes spiritual and moral decay. It suggests that following the path of righteousness leads to a life filled with good things, while straying from it results in spiritual death and separation from God. By choosing righteousness, one can enjoy a fulfilling life and avoid the spiritual and ethical downfall that comes from turning away from God. A life of righteousness is pleasing to God and brings about blessings and abundance. There is no death in the path of the righteous. King Solomon states that the righteous attain life, but whoever pursues evil finds death. What is your choice—righteous life or sinful life?  Romans 6:23 says: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” நீதியின் பாதையில் ஜீவன் உண்டு; அந்தப் பாதையில் மரணம் இல்லை...
